Backup Option?
Why is there no Backup Option? I don‘t why you hire low level computer science staff. Your App for people who cannot programm a 2FA in. Even there isn‘t sign in option. Sincelerly

ID.me Authenticator is a simple and free multi-factor authentication (MFA) solution for your ID.me account, protecting your account from hackers by adding an additional layer of security.
ID.me Authenticator generates secure 2-step verification tokens on your device, including time-based one-time passwords, (TOTP), push notifications, or mobile security keys, to verify your identity.
When logging in, after entering in your password, you will be asked for an additional way to prove it is really you. Either approve the notification sent to the ID.me Authenticator by tapping ‘Yes’ to approve if it’s you (push notification), or enter the verification code generated by the app (TOTP).

Completely Frustrating Experience
No-one with an international client base should use this app. Almost impossible for anyone other than US citizens living in the US to validate. No sensible review or override functions, so they’re obviously not listening to their customers and improving! Yours Green Card Holder living outside US
Impossible to set up MFA

Won‘t recognize my telephone number
The app doesn’t allow my telephone number from a foreign country so I couldn’t initiate a video chat!
Useless outside of US
You can get the app installed using German phone number but to verify you need a US number.
Verification
I believe the verification process by ID.ME is outdated. To have submitted original documents from DD214, Passport, or North Certificate, I was STILL denied access because the Civil documents where in German , I live here, and they needed to be translated. The only purpose is to confirm My address. That my Bank or Insurance Company would furnish Me with a translated copy of my bill is Stupid. No the app is flawed.
Way too difficult, kludgy, unprofessional
I helped an alert, educated senior citizen setup her id.me We submitted photos of documents and the video biometric “selfie”. Then we supplied two different phone numbers for authorization and it would not send an sms either. We tried this procedure twice. Then we had to wait an hour for the video conference. That went well finally. Given these id.me issues with phone numbers for authentication we downloaded this app as a fallback. It kind of works. My big gripe with it is that it does not return to session from which is was invoked but rather it just sits there after authenticating. The user should not need to fumble around to get back to the active session. The second problem, on Android leastways, is that it does not pop-up when invoked but rather the user must find it and open it to use it before invoking it. Please fix.

I like the app, I just wish there was a way to sort alphabetically.
