This app is great but it would be even better if you could just buy things on the app instead of going through the whole membership thing and just select what you want and then buy it instead you have to go through all the membership and then you have to buy everything and then you have to pay it’s a lot

Ordered a bunk bed for me and my brother, along with a new drawer. Looked lovely. Straightforward images and measurements, when I got to the payment options it gave me the opportunity to click and collect. Upon clicking that it saves me £35 for not home delivery with me only having to drive 30 minutes to the pickup point. Only catch is, they didn’t mention that failure to pick up this product on the day will result in an immediate cancellation. (Oh and they only mentioned that 1 hour before I was supposed to pick it up). Life happened and turned out I was unable to pick up the product on the day, however when I purchased it the order said “earliest pickup point is 9am-11am” implying there would be multiple opportunities for me to pick it up. This well-grounded assumption made me believe I could pick it up another day. Which I cannot. Now I have to wait up to 14 days for a refund on an order that Ikea could have mentioned will only have one opportunity for me to pick it up. What I would like is for Ikea to make it obvious that click and collect only allows for a one-time collection. And if you miss that window the order will be halted until you give an updated decision on what you want to happen next. Obviously if you don’t give a decision for something like 3 days the order will be cancelled but MAKE THAT OBVIOUS. Like sending multiple emails and messages. It’s unfortunate that such a prominent brand can have such a simple and preventable flaw.
Greatest store in the world if live in it if I had a chance
Items say available for delivery when I put postcode in them at checkout it says it isn’t. Very frustrating.
