Whether you’re making a photorealistic nature scene, a fun image of your friends, or a stylized version of a familiar photo, you can get started using simple text descriptions, photos, and people from your Photos library. Then choose the style you want, or select ‘Any Style’ to describe how you want it to look. And Image Playground is designed with your privacy in mind, with models that run on Private Cloud Compute, so your photos are never stored or shared, even with Apple. Modify Images with Ease You can easily iterate on your images, so you can make just the image you want. Simply describe the changes you want to make to update the scene and characters—like transforming the background, changing the style, or adding something entirely new. You can also refine specific parts of your image by tapping or circling an object to move it, resize it, or swap it out. Every version of your image is saved, so you don’t need to worry about losing something along the way. Integrated Across Your Apps Image Playground is integrated seamlessly across the apps you use every day. In Messages, you can make a fun image to send to a friend or create a custom background for your conversation. You can craft the perfect contact poster for your friends and family, or generate completely original Lock Screen wallpapers directly in Settings. Bring your presentations, mood boards, and documents to life with images in apps like Keynote, Freeform, and Pages, or design invitation backgrounds in the Invites app. And with the ability to choose your aspect ratio, you can use images wherever you need them—like a landscape image for your small business’s website or a portrait image for your flyer. Image Playground is available in the following languages: Danish, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Swedish, Traditional Chinese, Turkish, Vietnamese. ## Image Playground Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/78/08/10/78081024-756c-2bd0-45f4-6279ab215e21/Screenshot_2026-09-04_at_6.40.52_U202fPM.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/01/4f/7e/014f7e4b-31b3-a0ff-aced-f53728a241a4/Screenshot_2026-09-04_at_6.45.50_U202fPM.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/bf/8d/50/bf8d5058-5419-14f8-bcd6-ec226eabdcb5/Screenshot_2026-09-11_at_4.32.24_U202fAM.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/cb/93/50/cb935031-dde3-b4f1-2c7a-db5649c373d8/Screenshot_2026-09-04_at_6.47.09_U202fPM.png/1242x2688.png) ## Image Playground Rating Breakdown in Соединенные Штаты - 5 stars: 1,583 (33%) - 4 stars: 290 (6%) - 3 stars: 267 (5%) - 2 stars: 330 (7%) - 1 stars: 2,390 (49%) ## Image Playground Reviews in Соединенные Штаты ### *---- "Laughably bad" Laughably bad considering the image generation tech we have free access to these days. What is the point of releasing something like this? -- ProphetIcculus, 2025-01-23 ### *---- "Garbage" App downloaded on its own and keeps causing my phone to crash -- Camro, 2025-01-23 ### *---- "What is this?" It serves no purpose. I don’t want my grandchildren playing with my phone so there is nothing for myself to use it for -- Mo-Township, 2025-01-23 ### ***** "Pretty good" It’s a good app. Y’all need to stop hating on it, it’s still in beta and not complete yet. But it should be connected to chat gpt or something so it can make different type of stuff like sushi with a top hat. -- Skibidi fizzled:), 2025-01-22 ### *---- "Useless" It was useless as an image app. I killed it. I came to the Apple Store to write a review; the Apple Store wouldn’t let me; I unkilled it. Now I can write the review. It will be dead again as soon as this review posts. It’s actually worse than useless. -- Charles Dyer, 2025-01-22 ### *---- "Not very smart AI" This app was dropped onto my phone with the latest IOS update. My kids thought it was fun for a few minutes. I tried it and it’s complete garbage! Not accurate at all when generating an animation from a photo. Also won’t listen to suggestions or corrections. This is a useless app unless the AI is improved dramatically. Apple needs to step up their AI development as they are way behind other developers -- littlebigjon, 2025-01-21 ### *---- "Poor quality, frustrating UX" It’s hard to believe the Apple genmoji commercial are images actually generated from this app; because this app is so underwhelming. Want to generate an image of Socrates (just like in the commercial) You have to “select a person” which means you have to curate a particular race to select. Try generating an image of CEO Tim Cook, after selecting what type of person it won’t look like him at all. “This isn’t fair, there are legal concerns which have such things/results in place” sure, let’s abstract it away from such abrasion so I can highly its inadequacies without my crutches. Try generating a vector image/illustration of three circles depicting circular reasoning. You can’t. It looks like a hideous offspring of Impressionism with vector like shapes. The core idea of a circle “pointing” to another to depict circular reasoning, these generations never get remotely close to the idea. I was excited about what this generation could be, turns out Apple just licensed out their work from ChatGPT and the results speak for themselves. -- Joseph C. George, 2025-01-21 ### *---- "it is very bad" why i can’t use it in my country? -- sodih3iw, 2025-01-21 ### ***** "BEST AI" The best AI 🤖, I liked 😊 -- Snowman019, 2025-01-21 ### *---- "Meh" I don’t know why Apple always has to try to reinvent things. It’s an ok app for killing time but it really lacks a lot of capabilities that other tools have. If I upload a picture of my dog it just creates a stupid cartoon version that doesn’t even come close to what he looks like. If I try to ask it to adjust like make the dog smaller it doesn’t. It just regenerates he same different looking breed of dog. I spent 2 min playing and I’m done with it. There are many other tools that blow this away. -- Drack69, 2025-01-21 [View all Image Playground reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Image Playground Store Rankings | Chart | Country | Category | Rank | |-------|---------|----------|------| | Топ бесплатных | Новая Зеландия | Graphics Design | #194 | ## Image Playground Discovered Keywords -
