Laughably bad considering the image generation tech we have free access to these days. What is the point of releasing something like this?

App downloaded on its own and keeps causing my phone to crash

It serves no purpose. I don’t want my grandchildren playing with my phone so there is nothing for myself to use it for

It’s a good app. Y’all need to stop hating on it, it’s still in beta and not complete yet. But it should be connected to chat gpt or something so it can make different type of stuff like sushi with a top hat.

It was useless as an image app. I killed it. I came to the Apple Store to write a review; the Apple Store wouldn’t let me; I unkilled it. Now I can write the review. It will be dead again as soon as this review posts. It’s actually worse than useless.

This app was dropped onto my phone with the latest IOS update. My kids thought it was fun for a few minutes. I tried it and it’s complete garbage! Not accurate at all when generating an animation from a photo. Also won’t listen to suggestions or corrections. This is a useless app unless the AI is improved dramatically. Apple needs to step up their AI development as they are way behind other developers

It’s hard to believe the Apple genmoji commercial are images actually generated from this app; because this app is so underwhelming. Want to generate an image of Socrates (just like in the commercial) You have to “select a person” which means you have to curate a particular race to select. Try generating an image of CEO Tim Cook, after selecting what type of person it won’t look like him at all. “This isn’t fair, there are legal concerns which have such things/results in place” sure, let’s abstract it away from such abrasion so I can highly its inadequacies without my crutches. Try generating a vector image/illustration of three circles depicting circular reasoning. You can’t. It looks like a hideous offspring of Impressionism with vector like shapes. The core idea of a circle “pointing” to another to depict circular reasoning, these generations never get remotely close to the idea. I was excited about what this generation could be, turns out Apple just licensed out their work from ChatGPT and the results speak for themselves.

I don’t know why Apple always has to try to reinvent things. It’s an ok app for killing time but it really lacks a lot of capabilities that other tools have. If I upload a picture of my dog it just creates a stupid cartoon version that doesn’t even come close to what he looks like. If I try to ask it to adjust like make the dog smaller it doesn’t. It just regenerates he same different looking breed of dog. I spent 2 min playing and I’m done with it. There are many other tools that blow this away.
