GAMIFY your life and reward yourself when you did the task! This to-do list app awards you with points when you complete a task. With these points you can pick a wish from your wish list IF you scored enough points doing tasks. Only then a check mark button to tick off your wish is visible. So if you really want to buy that computer game, that new dress, or go to dinner in that new restaurant? Then put that as the prize on your wish list, so that you’ve got something to look forward to. In that way, you can suppress the severe dislike and focus on what you do want. Two things to watch out for: - Don’t reward yourself before you’ve done the task. Don’t buy that dress, don’t book that dinner, don’t get that game. The moment you do that, you’ve detached the reward and the task and chances are good you’ll end up enjoying your ‘reward’ without actually finishing the task that was supposed to do. - Think realistically about how many points you give a task and how many points you assign to a wish. Give simple tasks like “empty dishwasher” little points (5 for example) and hard tasks like “paint the house” a lot of points (100 for example). 
 Do the same for wishes.
