I usually love these types of apps, however, this one is a disappointment.  First a code is texted then code is emailed. Klara doesn’t send the email.  Contacted support and no reply.  Klara is a klutz

I&#039;ve found it&#039;s easier just to use the browser links from texts than this app. I always have to re login each time with 2 factor authentication. Also I have to re enter my phone number after clicking it. This app adds no value over the website of Klara. It&#039;s just buggy and annoying to use. Also it&#039;s worse than other patient communication apps I&#039;ve used with other doctors.

My biggest issue is that every time I attempt to sign in, I have to put my birthdate. This is after checking the box that says remember me for 30 days. 
I will not give the app any biometric information but it still asks if I choose that the account is mine. I submitted something to support and they didn’t seem bothered about my issue. It’s definitely a bug that they need to fix but they don’t care. 
It would also be helpful to have different folders for all the different people I have communicated with in the app. 
Wouldn’t recommend the app to anyone and have to keep using it because my doctor requires it.

Went to appointment and was extremely pleased. I have always had excellent service with Dr Ahmar. She takes time with her patients and listens to their concern. Today was the first time I saw the P.A. And she gave excellent services . Unfortunately I has three things I had come up and needed to discuss and she listened and took care of each concern. I was very impressed with her kindness and professionalism as I always receive in that office. I felt very comfortable with her and look forward to seeing the PA or the Dr. thank you so much for the great services I received. I have been seeing Dr Ahmar for over 30 years and would recommend her and assistance in a heart beat…

Better than calling a medical office but frustrating that you have to log in EVERY TIME you use the app. I even tried using faceid to log in and it looks like the app remembers my username sometimes but, even when I tap the checkbox to remember me for 30 days, it always asks again

The UX/UI is so bad I can’t even understand how they’ve been around for years and they are still so bad. I am also a beta tester for multiple mobile apps, as an experienced head of product for all B2C, B2B, and B2B2C. If you don’t have a PM, please hire one. If you have one, please fire that person.

I don’t understand how it can be so hard to have a stay logged in function that works with ios. You use the app, send a message, go do something else and when you come back after 3 minutes you need another text with a code and type your birthday again. I understand concerns with privacy but this is ridiculous.

This app is frustrating me a lot. Any time I get notified of a message from a provider, it shows my name and Face ID scans my face to authorize me, and then it sends me to a page asking for my phone number to log in again. And then I have to 2FA with a text message code. I tried deleting the app, then restarting my phone, and reinstalling, and it still does the same thing.

I’ve got probably 5 other apps for healthcare providers and none of them forget me like this. It’s a ton of friction and frustrating.

### *---- "So bad I’m switching to another doctor just to avoid using this app"
How am I supposed to communicate with my doctor instead of random people who work at a company her practice is now under? My health is not longer private, because everyone there can see these messages. ON TOP OF THAT - there is someone who used to have my phone number still linked to the app. When I asked for that provider to be removed, I was told that it went against HIPAA and that I would have to contact the provider myself - which, guess what - ALSO is a HIPAA issue. I’ve never been to the provider and have no way of removing them, but the biggest issues is not being able to reach my doctor without going through multiple people.. and even then my health info is visible to all of those people. Like it says in the title - this app is so bad that I’m switching to a new doctor so that I don’t have to use it anymore.

The app doesn&#039;t ever seem to remember when I check &quot;remember this device.&quot; Everytime I log in, I need to put my DOB again, despite the app saying it&#039;ll remember me for 30 days. Besides that, it&#039;s fine, just a little annoying.

I really dislike this app. The 2FA is so freaking annoying. It never remembers you; you are constantly having to re-enter your dob, text message codes, email codes, etc. Just use Face ID like the rest of the world! Or even a password!

The app uses Face ID yet I have to sign in with the phone number and add DOB every time I use it. The OAuth Session needs to be longer than 1 hour. Additionally if there’s a way to remember device for 90 days that would be great, if FaceID is in use I expect not having to sign in as a patient every time.

It can’t keep you signed in, even if you mark “remember this device for 30 days”. If fixed, I’d up my rating at least one star, since it would enable me the ability to use other options &amp; features. 

It won’t remember you for 30 min. Every time I want to check a message, I have to go through several screens, it asking for biometrics, asking for permission, asking for my phone number, asking for a verification code, asking if I’m a patient or provider, asking which patient? Then asking birthday… like really? After all that, it’s ok. 

If my provider texts me, and I click the direct link— yep, time to go through the process all over again. Tested on old iPhones and the latest one. 

Doing this once isn’t an issue. It’s when you’ve “signed in” 10 times to have a brief conversation, like scheduling an appointment, that takes now more than 10 minutes. 

I can’t imagine using this for actual medical questions and conversations until that process/issue with remembering the device is fixed.

App is useful enough, but I don’t like using it because of the excessive identity verification. Every time you open it they ask for your phone number, then text you a verification code, and then you have to go into scroll wheels to dial in your date of birth. It seems like this should all be done the first time you use it, but not necessary every time you need to use the app. I miss messages from my doctor because I don’t have time to go through this process every time I’m sent a notification. I’m also slower to reach out to my doctor because of it. There’s an option to “remember this device“ for 30 days, which does nothing at all. An hour later I opened it again and had to go through the same process. It’s not practical for an app that I have to use to send messages back-and-forth, I don’t want to put my birthday in 10 times in a day. Just set it up with Face ID after the initial verification so we can actually use this app.

Don’t you love having to check your text messages, AND your email, AND put in your birthday every time you open the app, even when you say don’t do it again for 30 days? Well you’ll love this poorly designed app. I’m not too great at contacting doctors and getting information I need from said doctors, so when it gives me an entire obstacle course to go through just to see what phone number I need, it’s very discouraging and I end up putting off getting medical information and scheduling important appointments because this app feels like it needs to get you to open the worlds toughest safe every time you want to look at something so simple.

The app does what it’s supposed to do. The login experience is just bad. FaceID doesn’t work, modern 2FA authentication methods don’t work. It’s cumbersome. SMS OTP is just not safe.

Every time I log in it takes like 3 tries. Because on the second try it says I’m already logged in and that’s it… so then I have to jump through the hoops of verifying my phone number and email for a third time. I’m not sure what’s happening but it’s annoying.
