### ****- "Pvp: 10/10 PVE: slay the spire but bad"
I’ve played since release; I love this game and clocked hundreds of hours on it. Riot ‘deciding to focus on POC’ and firing most of the team was the tragedy of the year. 

I tried really hard to like the PVE aspect of this game (path of champions) but… it fails in numerous aspects: not enough actual control over your deck/supporting champions; the new financial system is horrible and feels predatory- and I spent quite a bit before on boards, card backs, emotes etc. The combats feel samesies and very rng heavy. It feels like it tried to be slay the spire and fell on its face.

The pvp is still amazing and why I rated it the way I did. The great lore, the animations, the design of the cards is just good and it works. Just wish the devs would give pvp any love at all.

Pretty much what the title says 

You can earn the cards by playing the game which is good although getting all without spending money will require a humongous time investment so be aware

There are alternate skins for cards too, those are only purchasable by spending money on in game premium currency which may be standard nowadays but that shouldn’t make it acceptable

This game is really well done : 

The animations and illustrations are incredibly good looking, the story mode (Path of Champions) is well designed though, in my opinion, it could use some more « personnalized » games for some champions who don’t have those, and the PvP is fun as well.

All in all, if you like strategy and/or card games and/or League of Legends Lore, you’ll be well served with this game !

Sometimes when I use ‘ally strikes enemy’ type of cards my ally takes damage, and sometimes it doesn’t. This and a lot more little inconsistencies should really be fixed so we can play the game properly!

This is a complete free playable game.
You can purchase things as well, but mostly it is for the skins. Yes, you can enjoy a little bit more if you have good skins, but for me it wasn’t necessary. You can have all cards without spending money. 
You can get every week some champion cards if you played it every day and did the quests.
It’s not like Hearthstone where you have to play months for one legendary card without spending money and it would take years to have a certain amount of decks.
Overall Legends of Runeterra is a very good modern tactical game. There are extremely good animations.

Super fun game only it takes too long Before you get tyeh cards you want for me its just anothzr pay to win game befaus if you dont have enough cards wich cost a tremendous amount of money you cant enjoy it, i play it since release and have like 2/3 good decks but im stil waiting on my victor cards....oh wait you need to have atleast 2 of these cards or in most cases 3 wich takes so long you want to buy the in game currency but i refuse to pay for a stupid card 2 to 3 times 5 euros FOR A STUPID CARD the rewards are slow and you really have to grind your way to the cards you want but he wait its 100% luck based what you get! Deleted and goodbye.
