After having the 4x4 off-roader for 4 years, today I pulled it apart and built my own RC car and it worked perfectly. It would be cool if there was a mode where you could design your own vehicles! (I had to add an unnecessary motor to my car for it to work) 👍
As an owner of The Porsche GT4 E-performance, the Audi RS Q E-Tron, and the Off-Road Buggy, the LEGO Technic Control app was a must have! From the proportional acceleration to the realistic driving experience, controlling my car through an Ipad was a blast 😊. I feel that the dev team put a lot of effort into making the driving experience as immersive as possible with the virtual speedometer, throttle pedals, several challenges, and many other goodies 😁. The problem comes with the lack of physical controls. My finger would always miss the brake pedal, which is why my Porsche is so banged up. Also, the controls are left handed, which makes it difficult to drive. If you want some physical controls for C+, just get Pybricks or Brickcontroller. But all in all, the App is a solid way to control your vehicles! Highly Recommended! 👍🏁
I tried it but when I tried to move the LEGO Audi car it didn’t move. When I finally got it to move, I tried to make it go back, and then it went forward. Then it stopped moving entirely. The car is still nice though and it’s a pleasure to make. But the joystick doesn’t work well for me. Sorry! But this is my review.
I got a Porsche and its control is great but the building was not smooth. But I would say in general it’s pretty good
The app requires bluetooth access, but does not request it. And there is no way to grant it access without the request in the current IOS. I don’t know how others are using it but it’s unusable on my device.
Feels like theres a-lot a latency and i would like some more functions for the Porsche and a video of how the app works with some turn signals
I think the Lego is very fun because I can win challenges and do very fun things
If an app use Bluetooth it have to ask user to provide access to Bluetooth, otherwise it can not be connected to car. So app is unless it’s can not use Bluetooth.
It works great but the volvo truck keeps breaking
