Great idea but very flaky. Frequently can’t do anything with it because it times out while booting up, or while loading a page,or saving. Needs work.

Letterboxd for iOS puts the popular social network for film lovers on your iPhone or iPad, so you can log films and catch up on your friends’ activity with ease.
Sign in with your existing account (or create one for free) to enjoy our native app interface. These features of the web experience are supported, with more to come:

– Browse popular, highly rated and most anticipated films (including our official list of the Top 250 Narrative Features)

Our app offers account upgrades:
– Upgrade to 1 Year of Letterboxd Pro or Patron
– Pro tier adds annual and all-time stats pages based on your account activity, advanced activity and streaming service filters (including the option to pick and filter by the streaming services you subscribe to, powered by JustWatch.com), list cloning and removes third-party ads.
– Patron tier provides all the benefits of Pro, plus the option to customize film posters, backdrops on your profile and content (if available), additional stats, a listing in the Patrons directory on our website and early access to new features.
– Payment is charged to your iTunes Account when you confirm purchase and your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renewal is disabled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Your iTunes account will be charged for a renewal up to 24 hours before the end of each current period, at the same annual fee.
– You can manage your subscription and disable auto-renewals in the App Store app following purchase.
– Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited if you purchase a subscription to that publication, where applicable

Can’t see my own reviews anymore, the app now keeps saying I’m timed out every 5-10 seconds close to unusable

App won’t let me login at all. Tried reinstalling and still can’t get through…
PLEASE HELP ME
i love this app this app has encouraged me to watch more films then ever i LOVE it BUT IT HAS LOGGED ME OUT AND WONT LET ME LOG BACK INTO MY ACCOUNT. everytine i try it just buffers then goes back to the log in page. i’ve reset my phone i’ve deleted the app i have tried EVERYTHING P PLEASE HELP ME
newest update ruins the app
newest update has ruined the app, can’t even click on a film without getting a video ad that takes about 20 seconds to skip. clearly the people running this company don’t care, the entire premise of your app is that it’s meant to be used on the go to look up films, if i can’t even do that without getting an ad, why wouldn’t i just google it instead?
LETTERBOXD IS NOW UNUSABLE
With this new 4.3 update, Letterboxd has introduced full screen unskippable ads for movie trailers when clicking onto any film. It completely breaks the flow and cannot be turned off. I have loved Letterboxd for many years & would’ve said it was 5 stars yesterday, but it has just been completely ruined.
Frequent None-Skippable 30 Second Ads
These new, intrusive none-skippable 30 second ads, are now frequent and all over the app. Ruining the experience of what was a tremendous diary. Dreadful decision, and genuinely baffling choice.

Signs you out and when you finally get in it’s says server error. Had it for a while and it’s great but it’s just not working at the minute
possible new feature
i love this app so much, but as someone who quite often doesn’t get the time to finish movies in one sitting, maybe there could be an option to log an unfinished movie then when it was finished?
