Letterloop: Group Newsletters

Hi! Great app so far. Please add the option to post more than one photo to the photo wall. I've started a newsletter with just one other friend and I want to be able to add up to 10 photos with captions. Thank you!

This app/website is an amazing way to keep up with close friends who don’t live together anymore! My girlfriends from college still use it almost 2-3 years later monthly and we have found it is a great way to keep in touch and stay in the loop of everyone’s lives! The app is fairly new and it is a great way to view the group page and stay involved in every newsletter issue!

i really love the idea behind letterloop, but after paying for a subscription and using this for a while, there are a LOT of bugs that make the experience frustrating. often times Letterloop loses our updates/changes. i cannot recommend this app when there are still critical issues with the core functionality

We loved using this app to stay in touch too bad they don’t clearly disclose you have to pay $5 per a person after the first two. So ridiculous and the creator has absolutely no remorse ignoring all the comments on tik tok

Love this idea, the app is amazing! We live far away from family and friends as we are back in school. Where I’m frustrated is that there is lack of transparency on the cost. The first two issues are free and then you WILL have to subscribe. The app info implies that it’s optional, “you may subscribe.” I understand that apps need to generate money but given the language and way the app is subscribed, it seemed like if you wanted premium features, you would need to subscribe, not that you need to subscribe to even keep using the app. Let alone that you pay for each newsletter you’ve generated so that $5 per month could start to add up. Frustrated by lack of transparency. Feels like a “bait and switch.”

They don’t tell you upfront that after two issues, you have to pay. Paying for an app/product is not the problem, but the sneaky way they did it was extremely distasteful and uncool.

My friends and I have really enjoyed our first 2 issues. I absolutely love the concept of this app! I only wish there was an option to split the cost of the subscription (wether you split the yearly fee or a different member can pay each month) - because 1 person being responsible for the payment forever seems a bit unfair

Originally I downloaded this app because I loved the concept. I have friends scattered around and sometimes it's hard to stay connected. The questions, photos, and comments easily allow us to connect. I started this for one friend group but I expanded it to others. The first one was great! Then I received an email that only the first two are free. After that it's a five dollars per month. This wasn't made clear when I first looked at this app on the App Store, when I saw their advertisements, or after I downloaded the app. It only became evident after I was already hooked. It gives shady business practice.

My high school friends live all over and we’re in our late twenties now, so this is the most fun way to inform about life updates but also the small little things! (like fav cocktail at the moment) I forwarded the first issue to my mom so she knew what we were all up to too. Love Letterloop!!!
