Features may include(CS-01)

Remote Connect
Be in command of your Lexus from near or far with just a tap in the app. Remote features include locking and unlocking your vehicle, as well as pre-heating or cooling the cabin using Remote Start with Remote Climate Control.

Connected Trip
Send destinations to your Lexus, then finish with walking directions on your phone for smooth travel end to end.

Vehicle Status and Information
Left your car unlocked? Get reminded. Plus view your Distance to Empty and Odometer.

Guest Driver Alerts
Allows you to set and receive alerts when your vehicle is driven a by a guest. For example, receive notifications for speed, distance travelled, ignition on and curfews.

Smartwatch
Access remote commands and vehicle status using your compatible smartwatch.

Connectivity of our phones has been a major source of frustration.

I can not get wireless CarPlay to work reliably for my and my wife’s iPhones. Either can connect for a few days but then the connection fails. I have reinstalled several times.

I have not been trying to connect two phones simultaneously. Just the phone of the driver of the car. Most often, there is only one of us in the vehicle and therefore only one phone. However, neither phone will reliably connect. It works for a while and then stops, despite not changing anything. 

PostScript:

Thank you for your offer to troubleshoot the issues. However, I have spent days trying to get both my phone and my wife’s to connect and use CarPlay reliably. While either phone would initially connect, the connection consistently failed some time later. In addition, I have taken the car back to the dealer and they attempted to get a liable connection, without success.

After many attempts to get a reliable connection, I have given up on the app and installed an Ottocast dongle. That wireless CarPlay adapter seems to work reliably.

Therefore, with a reliable workaround, I am not going to waste any more time on the Lexus Connected app.

App works seemless having used other vehicle brands apps, Lexus one is leagues above. Great user interface and visual representation. Functionality and features are extensive, suits everyday needs that an app should. Very impressed.

I love my Lexus, but this app detracts from the overall user experience. Some issues: only one user can sign into the app, and there is no way to allow family members to access without sharing your login credentials. You can remote start, but the only time I would want to do that is to cool or heat the car, and this requires going into settings and changing the default temperature first. This is so cumbersome, we never use the feature (despite wanting it). Things that other car apps have like widgets and Siri Shortcuts are missing in this app. It will warn you that a window is left open, but provide no way to remotely close it. The presentation of the app is a clunky webview dashboard with no customisation options. Overall it appears that Lexus wanted to tick a box by saying they have an app, but gave little consideration to the users. It’s a shame because every other aspect of owning a Lexus has been stellar.

Borderline absolutely useless for RZ450e in australia. 
- yes sure you can do lock unlock etc. 
- no battery health? How useless. No battery percentage. It has a battery indicator with 12 bars on it. What the hell is that!?!
- no battery charge history or charging control. Useless.

It’s about the only function you need for an elctric car when you’re away from it and it doesn’t do any of it.

Whilst being grateful to have the app there are some areas that need fixing
The apple watch is supposed to be compatible but does not install and would be very useful and offer great convenience 

The push notifications include excessive overspeeed event notifications that cannot be removed from notifications or cleared from the log.

Fuel capacity remaining in volume or percentage would be very useful though the gauge is OK

Hope to see some fixes to make the experience even more enjoyable

As a Lexus owner since March of this year, I've had a rather disappointing experience with the accompanying mobile app. Despite its promises of convenience, the app falls short in crucial areas, leaving much to be desired.

First and foremost, the inability to control essential features like the windows and sunroof directly from the app is a significant letdown. One would expect such basic functionalities to be integrated seamlessly, enhancing the overall driving experience. Instead, the app feels limited and lacking in utility.

Moreover, the lack of options to monitor consumption adds to the frustration. In today's world, where data and insights are valued more than ever, the absence of this feature is glaring, especially when compared to similar apps offered by competitors.

While I genuinely enjoy driving my Lexus, I can't help but feel that the app's shortcomings detract from the overall ownership experience. As a loyal customer, I sincerely hope that Lexus takes note of these shortcomings and works towards improving the app's functionality.

In conclusion, while the Lexus driving experience remains unparalleled, the accompanying app fails to live up to expectations. Here's hoping for swift and meaningful improvements that will enhance the ownership experience for all Lexus enthusiasts
