I can’t use line!!!!!
I got a new phone and what a nightmare trying to use this app. If you do not pre set up a transfer or have your old device and you get a new phone you cannot in any way access your line account anymore. They have no way to just log in. You have to transfer it to the new device and you need the old one to do it. So be warned. If you plan to get a new phone make sure you set up a transfer or you lose all access to line account anymore
I can’t register my phone number so this app is useless to me.
My family and I are enjoying the convenience texting, phone calls and the cute stickers.
Please bring the timeline back. Line is just not the same without a timeline to share things on.
Super bad experience. Randomly block people
This app has completely failed at a fundamental task: allowing existing users to access their information when switching devices. In 2025, how can a company of this size overlook such a basic use case? It’s incredibly embarrassing. The only way to access your account is through the QR code from your previous device—even if the screen is shattered. And if you’re an iPhone user, the only other option is to sign up with an Apple account. But if your previous account was registered through Apple, you’re stuck because the app recognizes that an account is already linked, and you need the QR code from your destroyed device to proceed. Whoever designed this access flow needs to seriously reconsider their career choices. This is an obvious oversight—people lose or break their phones all the time, and yet your design doesn’t account for that? I’ve been forced to use this poorly designed app for work, and despite trying to reach customer service for a week, I’ve been completely ignored. It’s frustrating and deeply disappointing. I really hope someone in your company has a “light bulb” moment and realizes just how much of a problem this has caused for regular users. My trust in your company is shattered, and if it weren’t for work-related reasons, I’d be done with this app entirely.
