London Tube Map and Guide

I like everything about this app, from the route map hi-lighting all the stations along your chosen route to the list of stations and which lines serve each one. It’s so easy to find your station(s) by just taping the beginning letter on the right rather than scrolling through a long list. So easy to use. 2 thumbs up.

Overall the app was fine with the exception of the Northern Line. Unfortunately all our trips started or ended at Angel so it was a challenge for us. Example: if you ask for Angel to Leicester Sq, it tells you 0 changes and the map shows a direct route. Fact is, if you don’t change at Euston you end up at Edgware or High Barnet. Same issue going south past Embankment. The other lines seemed accurate but we had to switch to a different app since we were 90% on the Northern Line.

I tried two other Tube guides during our stay in London. This was the best. Provided several options for each route. And as long as I was tapped into the Internet via wifi, I received current service updates.

This is a wonderful app for getting around London's tube system. We used it on my iPod to get around on the tube during a two week vacation in the city. The route finder function which is still in beta works very well but is not quite perfect. The best thing about the app is that it does not require a network connection so it works well even when underground.

Quick, easy and informative. The status view is terrific & gives advance notice of weekend line closures.

I left a review yesterday following the failure of updates to show. It may not be down to me but it’s been fixed - so they clearly look after what they do … well done Mr Brainflash!

Have used this app for several years and it’s always been good…but not now. The map shows the Elizabeth line but the journey planner won’t route to any station on the line nor will it offer this line as an alternative. E.g. route from Paddington to Heathrow always uses Piccadilly line. Also the map used is different to the map in EVERY tube station. I know it’s an alternative map but it just makes it harder to use. The display in dark mode results in some text being black on black. Have switched to TfL Go which does routing and status, and is free. Sorry Tube Guide I really liked you. ☹️
