## Ludwig x Kusama Description
Yayoi Kusama (*1929, Matsumoto, Japan) zählt zu den bekanntesten Künstler*innen unserer Zeit. Die Ausstellung mit über 300 Arbeiten nimmt die Besucher*innen mit auf eine spannende Reise durch Kusamas gesamtes Schaffen.

Im Zentrum von Kusamas Werk stehen die Natur in ihrem ständigen Wandel, Werden und Vergehen sowie die Unendlichkeit des Universums, in der alles Existierende sich letztlich auflöst. Die Punktemuster (Polka Dots), mit denen die Künstlerin Gegenstände und Menschen überzieht, sind ebenso Ausdruck dieser Weltsicht wie ihre Unendlichkeits-Spiegelräume.

Nach Kindheit und Jugend im ländlichen, patriarchalisch geprägten Japan der Nachkriegszeit entflieht Kusama Ende der 1950er Jahre der Enge und zieht nach New York, das geprägt ist von der Flower-Power-Bewegung und den Protesten gegen den Vietnamkrieg. Dort bezieht sie politisch Stellung und macht Schlagzeilen mit provokanten Happenings. 1973 kehrt Kusama nach Japan zurück und verarbeitet ihre existenziellen Ängste in oft schonungslosen Romanen und Gedichten. In ihrem kraftvollen Alterswerk erschafft sie wiederum lebensvolle und farbenprächtige Bilderzyklen.

App läuft stabil und Inhalte sind sehr informativ. Es kann zwischen Kopfhörern und Lautsprecher-Ausgabe gewechselt werden. 

Neben Kusame hat man auch dauerhaften Zugriff zu den Audio-Inhalten von vielen anderen Ausstellungen.

Mir fehlt die von anderen  Audioguides gewohnte „Telefonhörer-Funktion“, bei der man ohne Kopfhörer oder Pods auskommt. Das ist die erste Museums-App, für die ich Geld bezahlen musste. Trotzdem freue ich mich auf den morgigen Museumsbesuch - und nehme Kopfhörer mit.😉

Technik funktioniert. Die Werknummern führen direkt zu den Inhalten. Super Ergänzung zu der spektakulären Ausstellung 🤩 Zusätzlich enthalten ist ein Audio-Guide für Kinder und ein Guide für die Dauerausstellung. Das werden wir beim nächsten Besuch gerne ausprobieren.
