This app is a joke. Completely un-programmable! It only works for dimming your light “manually” which is not what it advertised for. It supposed to do whole lot more than that. You should be able to replicate real day time sun UVB. Issues in the app: *If you want your own custom cycle you’re gonna have to put all the increments of time slots one by one from 00:00hr to 24:00hr. Because if you don’t it will turn on full power after your last set time slot. *The provided copy/paste device feature doesn’t work. It would help to put all the time slots and adjust them yourself if it was properly working. *The 2 provided useless light cycles are a joke. No smooth transitions. They need to fix the whole app asap.

This app is unfortunately awful. For such a respectable brand in lighting, the quality and reliability of this product is beyond unpredictable and buggy. This has messed up my chameleon’s night routine countless times and has proved to be a purchase I unfortunately regret. I had high hopes for this new Arcadia line and app, but it has not lived up even closely to that hope.

I hate this app. What a waste of money. Their “sunrise/sunset” ramp is an absolute joke. Setting up your own schedule is so time intensive, you have to schedule every half hour of the day, all 48 30 min segments, otherwise the light just stays on? Would have been better off with a normal bulb and a dimmer. Rating: GARBAGE

The app looks like it was made 15+ years ago. I love Arcadia products but man is this app a disgrace. When I first downloaded the app and saw how awful and what little you could actually do with the expensive lights you just bought was disappointing. I swear Arcadia didn’t think this app through. I don’t know why this got approved or even who approved this app to be published. They need to do a whole revamp to it or make a whole new app because of how far gone it is.

The functionality and UI are really rudimentary and every time I want to connect to a light I have to completely close the app and restart it or it will not connect.

Never comes on at the right times. Settings change by themselves. No “on time/intensity” “off time” settings. If you walk away from the lights, they disconnect from the app.

The app is totally useless but you won’t find this out most likely until you purchase this incredibly expensive light ballast. Arcadia needs to do better. They need an update ASAP because this won’t cut it. The light won’t connect to any phone unless it directly above the lamp on my enclosure and it is terribly sporadic. How hard is it to perfect Bluetooth technology? I have gotten 5$ Bluetooth speakers with better connectivity that this junk. Don’t waste your money on this light and if you can return it as soon as possible

I got this light for its ability to gradually turn on/off at specified times. After unpacking it and hooking it up, I downloaded the app and it connected to the light. I set the times and desired brightnesses, and it seemed like all was working as intended. Great. But now, the app isn’t connected with the light, and re-scanning doesn’t find it. Nor does restarting the app. Nor does restarting my phone. Nor does turning my phone on airplane mode, then turning airplaneofe back off. Nor does physically unplugging the light and re-plugging it back into the wall. Nope, instead, it’s stuck at a constant 100% brightness — which is unusably bright for my tank — and won’t fade on/off. Overall, a tremendous waste of money. For hardware as expensive as it is, I expect, and am, quite frankly, entitled to, a functional app, especially seeing as how I have no option for a physical controller to control the light directly. I will absolutely not be buying another LumenIZE. Do not bother with this light, or this app, unless you like burning money.

It turns off just fine as scheduled, but it never turns on by itself. I have it set to auto with one of their preset settings and it doesn’t turn on. Pretty disappointed with this purchase so far.

I should have read the app reviews before purchasing these expensive lights. I have a 24w PRO T5 UVB light and the led bar for my bearded dragon. The website makes huge promises of being able to easily set dawn and dusk like lighting. No that is not the case. There are 2 built on programs, on is just on 100% and off 100% at 7am and 7pm. There other jumps to 50% at 5:30am, 75% at 6:30am and 100% at 7am. How is that mimicking a sunrise??!?? You can’t change these, so your only option is going through the cumbersome and tedious process of adding time intervals and light brightness. I created a custom schedule where it increases 10% every 10 minutes. So over an hour and a half it gradually gets brighter (like a real sunrise)! Great right? Wrong. Lose power or unplug the light and your custom settings go “poof” and you get to do it all over again. My basking bulb is connected to a smart life plug in programmable dimmer. In that app, I set a wake up start time, how long I want it to take and at what brightness I want it to end. Takes 20 seconds to setup, it works, it’s easy, doesn’t delete settings when it looses power. I probably should have just sent the fixtures back, but I have hope they will make the app better since it’s a new product. I’ll update my review if that ever happens.
