Mahilete Tsige: The Hymn of the Flower (with Audio)

Mahilete Tsige is the essential prayer and hymn book commemorating the migration of the Holy Family (Jesus, St. Mary, and Joseph) into Egypt. This application is crucial for the faithful during the annual “Season of Flower” (Zemene Tsigie), a 40-day period beginning on the 26th of Meskerem (October 6/7).

During this season, the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church offers special devotions, and this app provides the core texts and audio resources, including:
	* Mahilete Tsige (The Hymn of the Flower): Hymns composed in memory of the Holy Family’s hardship, comparing Jesus to a fruit and St. Mary to a flower (based on Isaiah 11:1).
	* Seqoqawe Dingil (The Lamentation of the Virgin)
	* Hymns of St. Yared (Digua)
	* Negs, Akuakuam, Kidan (The complete set of services for the season).
