Very nicely organized app to navigate and work with your own tours and waypoints. Very easy to import and export data. No need to ever look for a better application to work with GPX files!
Still hoping for some more options for GPX files with several tracks. Now such a file is handled as one track when - for example - Hide all other tours is choosen in the menu. I never got an answer on my suggestions by email.

Download the map pieces you need and you will have all the data, very detailed. Send your own GPX file, search for campings and even the routeplanner wil find a nice path for you, avoiding the highway.

Ik gebruik de app nu al zeker 4 jaar om te wandelen en te hiken. Superhandig om vooraf een route te kunnen maken en een inschatting te krijgen van het stijgen en dalen en de moeilijkheidsgraad. Door van de voren de  olattegrond te kunnen downloaden is er niet tot nauwelijks data nodig tijdens de wandeling. Dus zelfs zonder goed bereik werkt het uitstekend.

Download maps of the whole world and it works offline. Great feature. The maps is clear and the predefined tours are great. Making a route is not the most intuitive but finding your way when a bit or more lost is easy with the detailed maps.

I have used and tried different apps. I came across this app on Cyclingabout.com from Alee Denham. This is by far the most user-friendly app for planning a route. The app has a simple and user-friendly display. The dashboard should display a little more information such as average speed. What I do miss is that the speeds for the planner cannot be set. 4 km / h is much too slow for me on flat terrain. The speed is also too slow for bicycles at 15 km. Planning based on nodes, but especially navigating with nodes for bicycle route network or walking network, is better with the Topo GPS app.

The map layers are generated from Opensteetmaps. The advantage of these maps is that they are regularly updated. But sometimes important details such as routes or small paths are still missing. For the Netherlands, for example, the topographic maps such as these in Topo GPS are much more detailed.

In short, great beautiful app easy to work with. For me, this is one to keep.
