оффлайн без покупок, удобная работа с треками, батарейку не ест особо, в целом вполне приятное. из минусов: трек в background периодически отключается и не возобновляется сам; при пробуждении телефона радостно говорит «о, gps-signal is good again” и снова включает запись — а в треке дырка.

I use several route planning/tracking apps and each has its own signature features and benefits that others don’t have, but Map Out is the best overall by a long shot

I use MapOut every day just playing around planning cycle routes - checking the distance and elevation. Even when I’m out riding it’s a good gauge for what’s ahead and how far to the next climb. Love how the cycle friendly routes are marked. Heading to UK and seeing the NCN cycle trails on the App makes it so easy to plan ahead.

I love this app and consider it an essential app if you do anything outdoorsy! The deceptively simple design is actually just an elegant and clever wrapper for a huge stack of powerful features. I really put this app through its paces during an 8 week 4500km bike ride around New Zealand, and found these features in particular make it stand out above any others: - Unlimited download of map data anywhere in the world including extra info like POIs, bike routes, services, etc. Also that you can update all map data in just three taps - Being able to draw routes with your finger right on the phone! I used this daily to plan my routes. Real time elevation profile graphs and having it calculate climb and descent rather than just total elevation change are critical when deciding on routes. Having it snap automatically to not only roads but also tracks feels a bit like performing magic! - Automatically orienting map to compass or route, and retaining its zoom levels - Price! Can’t believe how cheap this app is for the utility it provides. No subscription pricing unlike everything else I’ve found that comes even close doing what this app does

Been using MapOut for 3 years and it has been great for tracking your routes. I also like the fact you can draw a route and it gives you the distance and profile of the route. By holding two fingers on screen brings up a ruler with the terrain profile between two points. The ability to share the recorded track with other devices is so simple and convenient. You can change the colour of the tracking line and edit/add details.

Very clear map at any zoom and easy interface. Uses openstreetmap which is usually your best hope to get off road trails

Es fehlen sehr viele örtliche Wanderwege, die touristischen Hinweise haben wenig Informationsgehalt, Wanderparkplätze werden tapfer ignoriert ;-) u.v.m. Zum Betrachten sind die Karten als sehr gute topographische Karten zu bezeichnen und es macht Spaß, damit Landschaften zu erkunden. Für alle in Bayern zum Routenplanen: Hier gibt es über den Bayernatlas mind. gleichwertige Möglichkeiten kostenlos.

Sehr gute App um Routen zu planen. Für Wanderer und Outdoor-Sportler ein Muss! Die Kartendarstellung ist sehr übersichtlich und man hat alle nötigen Informationen. Leider hat das UI ein Problem auf neueren iPhones mit Dynamic Island: Die Höhenprofilanzeige lieht in diesem Bereich und wird dann teilweise verdeckt. Daher nur 4 Sterne.
