Search feature

- MapOut is based on the OpenStreetMap project, the “Wikipedia of Maps” - you can make corrections and additions yourself on OpenStreetMap.org. The latest maps are delivered with periodic updates.
- Download the regions of your choice - the maps can now be displayed without an internet connection (offline map).
Tours
- Drawing: Draw your own routes and waypoints directly on the map. Retouch existing tours and imported GPX files or let them directly snap to the road network.
- Import: With a free “MapOut.me” account you can send directions by email to your device. GPS-Tours can be found as gpx or kml files on many websites with tips for hiking or biking (e.g. on www.gpsies.com)
Record: Take recordings of your own tours and share them with friends.
Information: Quick overview of each tour - length, altitude change, map section and route profile

Bra fokus
Bra app för att fokusera på just den resan man planerar. Suveräm funktion där man mejlar en GPX eller KML fil till sitt konto o vips blir de tillgängliga på alla IOS enheter man har Iphone och Ipads. Smart avståndsmätar funktion till den del av kartan man har in zommad och det spår man valt, samt kuperad terräng profil. Offline läge och nedladdade kartor bra när man är utanför täckning eller får dyra mobildata. Just nu min favorit app för vandring och jag har testat ca 5 andra kända, men denna är bäst. Måste vara ett geni som skrivit den här appen, tackar!
Beautifully simple and effective
This app takes an activity which is usually quite technical and frustrating and makes it incredibly simple without any real trade offs. After having setup free GIS software with various plugins to try do route planning for motorcycle rides I can honestly say this is worth the relatively small price.

Na ja, so toll wie viele Rezensionen andeuten, ist die App nicht
Es fehlen sehr viele örtliche Wanderwege, die touristischen Hinweise haben wenig Informationsgehalt, Wanderparkplätze werden tapfer ignoriert ;-) u.v.m. Zum Betrachten sind die Karten als sehr gute topographische Karten zu bezeichnen und es macht Spaß, damit Landschaften zu erkunden. Für alle in Bayern zum Routenplanen: Hier gibt es über den Bayernatlas mind. gleichwertige Möglichkeiten kostenlos.
Meine Lieblingsapp!
Sehr gute App um Routen zu planen. Für Wanderer und Outdoor-Sportler ein Muss! Die Kartendarstellung ist sehr übersichtlich und man hat alle nötigen Informationen. Leider hat das UI ein Problem auf neueren iPhones mit Dynamic Island: Die Höhenprofilanzeige lieht in diesem Bereich und wird dann teilweise verdeckt. Daher nur 4 Sterne.
Beste Karten-App für MTB & Wandern
Wunderschöne und flotte Kartendarstellung. Planen von Touren sind ein Traum. Endlich mal kein Abomodell! Einziger Wermutstropfen: es gibt keine Apple Watch Anbindung.
Die mit Abstand beste Wander App im Netz !
Unglaublich großer Funktionsumfang. So gut wie alles ist möglich. Sehr detailliert. Auch kleine Bergpfade sind zu sehen. Sehr einfache Bedienung und tolle Möglichkeit alle Touren schon im voraus zu planen mit Entfernungsangabe, Wanderzeit, graphische Anzeige des Anstiegs und Gefälles, aufzuwendende Zeit usw. Auch zum Planen und Entdecken bei Städtetrips bestens geeignet! Ganz hervorragend ! Möchte ich nicht mehr missen.
Absolut Empfehlenswert
Ich fasse mich kurz. Ich nutze die App schon lange. Manchmal ergänzend zu einer anderen. Ich liebe die deteilreiche Darstellung. Die Bedienung ist super intuitiv. Ich will diese App nie mehr missen.
So häufig schon…
…hat mir diese App in den Bergen den A. gerettet. Man steht an einer unvermuteten Weggabelung, kein Schild, da hilft die Papier-Wanderkarte nur bedingt weiter. Mit MapOut und den vor der Wanderung herunterladbaren Offline-Karten sieht man genau, wo man ist und kann sich für den richtigen Weg entscheiden. Dabei sind die Karten in der Qualität von guten topographischen Karten. Nie mehr ohne :-)
