Margaritaville, your app is useless. Having the same issues as other reviewers who reviewed the app 1 year ago. Come on!
Same as other reviewers - I received an email saying to download the app and enter the code to link the reservation to allow for check-in, electronic key, etc. No such functionality exists.
Received an email from the hotel inviting me to get the app and link my reservation. Downloaded it and there is no way to link my reservation so the rest of the app is pretty useless. One star is for the list of restaurants and available menu.
I received an email from the hotel in advance of an upcoming stay suggesting this will help with every aspect of my visit from checkin to mobile key capability. I downloaded the app and ran through its functionality and none of what the hotel email says about the app is actually available. No check in expediency, no way to connect my reservation with the app, mobile key is not even a part of the app. I think I’ll plan on this being a non-app supported visit.
I am currently staying at the Margaritaville Hotel in Hollywood Florida. I’m on day five of a six day stay. The mobile key portion of the app and confirmation of my registration has never functioned. I was told at check-in that it might take a few minutes. Additionally I ordered room service lunch on day two and although it did arrive to our room, the room service came in late and I was called because there was incomplete information on the order. On day five I ordered breakfast and after about two hours called down and was told that they never received the order. The person I spoke with said that this is a recurring issue that they sometimes either get incomplete or do not get orders at all. Although he offered to take my order over the phone I told him at this point my family is about to walk out the door and it was no longer a viable option. He did tell me I would not be charged but did not offer anything else in recovery. This was was also poor response by what is supposed to be a highly rated hotel. Please fix your app and when you have an error, you should teach your staff better recovery options.
App doesn’t work. Instructions in their email say to enter the code they provide, but upon opening does not allow you to enter any information. It just says “No Guest” and provides no other options.
