Master Hauler Truck App has been designed and developed to be a flexible, mobile app that assists drivers collect data related to the construction material their hauling. From there, the data transfers to the Contractor, Broker and other users, so better business decisions can be made, and projects can be completed in a more timely and cost-effective manner.
Other solutions focus on just one entity that receives the data such as the Contractor. Instead Master Hauler uses the approach that the Driver / Broker is providing the trucking / data collection service and therefore through their fees to the Contractor, that same information gets passed on to multiple parties involved in the project electronically.
With the data coming into a standardized database, the Driver, Broker, Contractor and other users will have access via a website to view, approve and download reports that will provide detail information related to a particular day, job and material that was hauled. In addition, the Drivers will have the functionality of capturing an image of a material ticket, which along with the other information entered via the mobile app, an electronic ticket information is captures thus fulfilling requirements of various Department of Transportations across the country.
By moving to this mobile and web-based solution, we are eliminating paper haul sheets that often were spilled on, torn, or have illegible writing. Most importantly, paper haul sheets are not remitted in a timely manner to help project managers, job foreman and business owners make real time decisions whether to add trucks or cut trucks on a specific job.
Finally, through analyzing the overall process, we found that often, the Driver would need to complete a paper haul sheet for themselves or a Broker if they are an independent driver, hired by a broker. Likewise, they would also need to fill one out for the contractor. So initially we have duplicate work being done and sometimes, those two hauls sheets came up with different hours. Master Hauler eliminates that so when the Driver enters the load information, that same information gets passed onto the Contractor / Driver / Broker and becomes available for the project managers and even state / county / city project inspectors. All parties involved now have the same information and there should be no more billing discrepancies and month end trucking reports should reconcile much easier.
