This is incredibly non user friendly, the interface needs reviewing. The time function also has stopped working for the second time which is really frustrating. Rubbish app.

Generally the app is “ok”
Looks extremely dated and is not the most intuitive to use. Bolton button are partially blocked by the swipe bar. No option to set night mode on my AC, would even prefer an option to permanently disable the unit beeps

Mitsubishi please do something about this app. It seems to use a cloud based API rather than a local one. Hence its slow and buggy to use. The app seems to have less functionality than the remote that comes with unit. 

It’s incredibly frustrating to setup units with the app. In this day an age it’s simply unacceptable.

All the features I needed and was happy. Then internet was out for an hour, and after coming back on the units are now no longer connected to the app. Followed the troubleshooting steps without success. App offers no further help 🤷‍♂️

The app has not been able to communicate with the server since 18/4/2024 meaning I cannot remotely control the heat pump for 4 days now.
For someone who relies on remote operation of their heat pump, this is appalling for a respected organisation like Misubish. Please fix the problem in a timely manner and keep your customers informed about any progress.

Trying to register new equipment which ought to be straightforward is a nightmare. Constancy error messages with no clue as to what, why or how to fix. Support that just takes you to a map with no explanation as to why. And still no success. Seriously, how hard can it be to have an app that works?

App design is ok. Initial setup is a bit slow and managing routines/timers isn’t that great. Works most of the time, but have to regularly (once-twice a month) remove and re-install it as it fails to send commands to the AC units. Voice commands through google home are also poor, though that may not be their fault.

Customer service is not good , problems with there system but want to charge you to come and fix a brand new installation People have had Toshiba heat pumps and far better service !!!!

Given the size of Mitsubishi and the high cost of the air con units the app is almost unforgivably bad. Unintuitive and complex to set up. Constantly - and I mean CONSTANTLY - forgets or overrides the basic temperature and vane direction settings. Just randomly assigns values. The app has preset slots but I have zero idea how you are meant to set them up. Overall feels like a shrunken, buggy kiosk app from the late 90s.

The day/night pricing in the app doesn’t work correctly. 
Reports are poor.
I have 2 zones that are controlled independently - radiators & underfloor - but it doesn’t display them correctly in the app as being independent. 
Poor app. Needs more resources and effort. Very disappointing effort from such a big company.

The app has not worked for month it keeps flashing and does not give me the ability to see the water and heating temps remotely, nor control them. Last update to app was 8 months ago, i think this last update ruined the app and stopped it from working.

whilst the app may do much of what is needed, connecting the air con units to the wi-fi so that the app can be used is SO difficult if only access points are available. 5 units finally connected, but within 3 days only one remained connected and working.  basically useless and it is 2023 - plug and play should surely be the norm … and couldn’t even be connected by qualified engineers.

### *---- "Mitsubishi seems to have given up on this"
Trying to use the app with a heat pump is a very frustrating experience.
As many have pointed out the app will not let you look at any meaningful data trends as it uses some polyline function on the data to make the curves look "nice" which makes the displayed data trends unusable.
Hourly data cannot be viewed other than for a single hour. You have to tap through and write the numbers in an Excel sheet yourself to see whats happening in the system.

Worst of all the home page status for DHW and Heating does not reflect the actual status on the heatpump, I.e. the heatpump itself has three modes for DHW: operating (the play icon), prohibited (the circle with the diagonal line) and timer (the clock) mode, whilst the app status page has only2 buttons "Auto" and "Heat now"! Why the app uses a different  control logic and different user experience as compared to the control panel on the heatpump is anyone's guess.

Mitsubishi, if you are reading this, may I suggest you simply copy the same identical controls, display and settings from the on-device display? Literally just copy it 1:1 to the app with the hard function keys replaced by soft keys on the app. This will make it super intuitive to use and the user can reference the existing manual that came with their heatpump, both for the app and for on-device control.

The app does a function but it’s so out of date and clunky. For such a large company why haven’t they invested in this vital user interface! App layout needs a whole rethink and focus on user journey.
