Metro Paris Subway for iPhone is a comprehensive guide to traveling through Paris, France. It includes official subway maps. Metro Paris Subway is officially licensed by RATP of Paris.
◉ Latest official map of Paris Metro, RER (the additional regional express network of Paris) and Paris Bus. Detailed map of each line in Paris (Metro, RER, Tramway, and SNCF Transilien).
◉ Precise location of each station on the map (with a red circle). This application is fully compatible with Apple Maps, each station is represented by a red pin, a popup shows you the distance, and it's updated live (thanks to GPS) as you walk down the streets of Paris.
◉ The journey planner tool allows you to find automatically the best route to get to your destination in Paris Metro. Interactive map to choose your stations for the route. To get better Route results, please switch into Best Route in the settings.
◉ The journey planner does not require a network connection to operate, it works perfectly while in the subway.
◉ A bookmark manager allows you to save your stations and routes.
◉ The application locates the nearest metro stations from your position in Paris. You can also provide an address in Paris, all the stations closest to that address will be displayed.
◉ Paris Bus is now available in the same application. This option allows you to switch between the underground and bus systems at any time using the same application. Just a PDF
Not worth it for just a PDF view, or it's not actually working on my iOS
Useful but improvements could be made
I use this regularly as a Paris resident due to its simplicity, although have found that the favorites option and the Paris bus in-app link-up do not work. Would be a super app if these could be fixed!
Simple and it works
I have used this app for three visits to Paris now and of all transport apps this is the best I have seen.. Simplicity and accuracy..
A must have app. if travelling in Paris
A great app. Use it all the time when in Paris. So much easier than trying to decipher the numerous signs scattered all over the Metro. Simple, easy to use and has never failed me in the 2 years I have been using it.

Great app - have used it several times whilst in Paris and found it very helpful and accurate.
Metro Planner
Very good app
Good app but some flaws
Generally pretty good and makes it easy to get around. But the route planner has put us wrong a couple of times by sending us to connections at stations that were not available. Most of these unavailable lines at stations were due to long term maintenance work. (Metro line 2 at Barbés Rouge or trains above ground on "C" past Ivalides for example) I think long term maintenance like this should be considered by the App when planning a route.
