Unfortunately, it’s spreading rapidly and causing all sorts of trouble. Our team has been working hard to build a multiplayer action game with lite RPG-lite mechanics that is accessible, social, and dynamic. From seasoned MMO or ARPG players who might like a more bite-sized version of the games they love, to new players who have yet to experience the joy of these genres, we wanted to build something that everyone can sink their teeth into. Our Dungeons, that we call Rifts, only take a few minutes. Our open worlds are dynamic with lots of different events to keep the game feeling fresh. Our builds are flexible, so you don’t need to completely commit to becoming a tank, a healer, or a DPS. Rather, you can try out many different combinations of Gear and decide every session to play a different role depending on what feels more fun or what would help you achieve your current goal. Not only did you severely nerf/roll back our power level for those who had made it to elite, but there was literally no compensation for our losses. Monsters got even stronger on the higher levels, but we were struggling enough as it was in the lower levels. Half the time there’s no point in trying to fight above sewers, and forget the rifts, we’re so weak it’s fail after fail. It was frustrating enough having extreme low levels being in our parties in rift, I rarely even play and will jump out out if I’m partied with low levels because it’s a waste of time. Going from 14k power to now having worked myself up to just under 5k is kinda depressing and downright frustrating. All of that said, I do LOVE the designs, from the worlds to the monsters to the characters and all of the costumes and weapons and stuff. I had maxed out my available xp every day grinding because it was so fun. Sometimes you would get lucky and cap in less than 30 min. It felt very rewarding and given it’s pve there is no pay to win facet of the game. For those unaware, Chapter 2 recently launched. It has been a very sad downfall for the game. All the people and communities are leaving due to the harsh nerf on the xp. I understand that it may have been “bugged” on the elite hunter islands but that gives everyone the problem of having to play for 8+ hours a day just to not overcap on xp. THIS IS NOT A FULL TIME JOB! This game should be fun and accessible, like other supercell games where flowing in and out feels rewarding. Not penalizing for wanting to take a break. It went from providing out of combat stealth and a moderate damage from stealth to getting rid of stealth altogether but increasing the damage of the dash attack which would recharge even in combat to now the dash attack only recharges out of combat. So you get one good attack, then have to flee combat for 10 seconds else you hit as if you’re wielding a wet noodle. It started out cool with moderate dps to moving to high single target dps to now being a worthless joke. The biggest mob you can find megacharged takes 3-4 minutes to kill and rewards you with 3k xp.
