i got so invested in the story i felt like a single mother raising her child in a weird and whimsical world and over the past few hours have experienced a myriad of emotions tied to motherhood. i felt fiercely protective over the child and i will miss her when i finish playing this game.

Incredible atmosphere, sound, and graphics, with a few new twists on gameplay. Overall enjoyable and of course stunningly beautiful, but I felt that the puzzles were a lot easier than the first game and it felt shorter too. Felt less replay-able than the previous entry.

Part 2 is another solid, feel happy game, puzzles are good, a few take a few minutes to work out.
Good story, the graphics and controls are brilliant, good sound but I admit I mostly play with the volume off so that I don’t disturb others.
Glad to see cubey boy make a return but only for a short while.
It’s nice to have such a pure game to play.
Yes the story play slows down the transition to the next puzzle , but that just adds to the calmness of the adventure.

Honestly I finished the game and monument valley 2 within 2hrs and the reason I kept on playing was the intricate problem solving and the simple bliss of thinking outside of the box literally ,kept me wanting to stay and finish each every level I came across and I’m glad I did.(But however I think monument valley 1 was harder than 2)

For such simple graphics, a lot of thought and effort has gone into producing a beautiful game and the music and sounds, such as they are provide a wonderful ambience. The puzzles and puzzle mechanics are well thought out, too; messing with perspective definitely gives you pause for a moment. Unfortunately it is just for a moment as despite the above it’s neither very challenging nor very long. Still, absolutely worth playing if you’ve got a spare hour or two!

I loved the first instalment of this game and was super excited when the sequel was released. 
This version is just as beautiful and to look at and play but seems comparatively very easy; much easier than the first game. Also seemed much shorter. I’ve only been playing casually but completed this in a couple of days. Unlike other games it lacks replayability as once you’ve solved the puzzles repeating the game is pretty much the exact same experience. 

Please do continue and make another 3rd version but the game needs some longevity aspect, mini games or other reason to play longer than 2 days
