Moxie - Word Traveler

I have been playing Moxie since I found it a few months ago. In fact, I have played it so much that I’ve run out of levels (except for the daily ones). Just wondering when there will be new content added as I am hopelessly addicted now!

I love words. I love this game. I learn new words in every game.

I have reached the highest level so far. I knocked myself out to play enough games to earn 4000 points. I got three quarters of the way through when I got to the Azores level only to find there were no more puzzles. “Coming soon” is not real information! You get five stars when you keep up!

Love love love this game! As a person with low vision, I can find very few games to play on my phone and this one works perfect. I just reach level 500 and it is so much fun. Can’t wait to reach more. Great game.

I absolutely love playing Moxie! It is up there with Wordle and Words with Friends. I have been playing it since the beginning because all the Blue Ox games are fun and clever word games. Moxie is very challenging once you understand how to play. There is a tutorial as you start and stick with it because it cleverly explains how to play and tricks and to help you score the best words. Like Wordle you are only playing against yourself, but unlike ke Wordle there is no limit to how many games you can play in one sitting LOL! Once you’ve worked out the rules and understand how to play it is absolutely addictive — but in a good way. Playing Moxie has thoroughly helped my scores in Words with Friends. If you have a question, the Blue Ox team answer you quickly and give you a clear explanations to help you play your best game. I think this is the first review I have every posted but this game deserves my time and yours. It’s that good. Have fun!

I’ve been playing for a long time now, but I’ll be quitting soon, as it’s getting too expensive for this retiree to play. And it’s been too expensive all along. The “cost” of a “hammer” or “fan” or “wild card” is IMO TWICE what would be a reasonable amount. And the “reward” from playing is a meager 10! And if you watch the rather long ad, you get an additional (WOW!) 15!!! As much as I enjoy it, and will miss it, the feeling of being taken advantage of and ripped off is trumping my enjoyment. I thought you ought to know. By the way, I’ve spent hundreds of $$ playing, but unless the cost changes SIGNIFICANTLY by the end of this week, I’m gone. (Today is 10/1/24) Below is a previous review I wrote. *** Fun and very addictive game! Previously, I wrote the review below that I’m leaving up just in case someone else had the same problem I did. Thank you to the administrators for clearly explaining what the problem was. I had just jumped in and played for points, thinking I knew how to play. I never had gone to “the book” to read the instructions before. I just completed Level 199 which I had tried to best at least 2 dozen times (maybe 3). The game is even more fun now. Thank you also for responding in such a timely manner! Great game, and good people at the helm! 😊 **** What I wrote previously… “However, there is a glitch. There is a “goal” amount posted at the top left. Reaching that amount MAY cause the system to recognize you successfully reaching the goal…or NOT. Most of the time, while it will acknowledge “goal reached” on the top left, it does not end the round. It will just keep on counting until you run out of tiles, THEN tell you you FAILED to reach goal! On a 700 goal, I just did over 2200 and it still told me I failed! I wish y’all would fix this.”

I accidentally deleted the icon for game and I can’t get it back. I can open it in App Store but that isn’t handy!

This game was sooo much better before they succumbed to being like every other game and included annoying ads. Please return it to the pre-ad format.

I play it all the time. My husband can always tell because I am holding my tablet in portrait mode! I was wondering what if anything triggers the Word frenzy challenges. I have it on a couple of devices, okay 3. They are all on different levels. They don’t all do it at the same time. Is it a score thing? Some of them say weekend frenzy, but not all of my devices start the challenge. I am just curious, it is my favorite part. And of course, learning archaic Scottish farming words!🤣🤣

This game is right up my alley, lots of strategy in making words for us wordsmiths. I’m up to Level 705 and I hope they never end. Thank you so much for making such a great game. I’m happy to purchase items to keep you folks going!! Keep up the great work!!
