My Exercise is the first game by award-winning animation filmmaker Atsushi Wada. This short game was developed in collaboration with independent Japanese developer Ryoya Usuha and the Playables team. This is absolutely my cup of tea. What a glorious game filled with glorious animation and a delicious sense of an absurd world with its own internal logic (hmmm illogic I guess). There is so much I love about this, most notably finding myself on a train at night coming home and laughing at the fact that someone has made me do hundred of sit ups just to see where the next burst of madness gets me. Absolutely inspiring. Thank you for making it. I also realise that this is not everyone’s cup of tea. Well, all I can hope is that one day you ‘get’ this.
