Best info for me, I’m a fisherman ,like to know what’s happening near me.
The best app I have used
We don't get much thunder and lightning here. That's what I used to think. Since installing this app and having recently had a couple of storms it has been a revelation. As a radio ham and UHF/VHF listener it is invaluable. I like how configurable the app is from setting the radius of detection to being able to control how many notifications it gives me in any period of storm and its accurate too. I really find this app to be useful and informative.
Excellent
Quite remarkable to watch the strikes in real time and plot their approach! Very sad, but great fun to estimate the distance from the flash/ thunder time, then accurately measure from the app! Kids love it! On a serious note, gives advance warning of approaching storm, useful if out in exposed countryside.
Lightning pro
Love this app, it provides me with instant updates on lighting strikes within 1-3 minutes pinpointed accuracy within 1 meter of strikes via satellite, forecast for the 24 hours, very good application.
