Worst app going. Bought 4 of the lights for a 6foot set up. Worked fine for several days then the app just kept timing out. Reinstalled app and deleted all my settings. Killed everything in my tank more or less when I couldn’t reinstall. App is absolutely useless

This app does not work on my iPad. It just suddenly stopped working. No one to call for support. I removed the app and reinstalled it and it still doesn’t work. Now my fish will die because I don’t have a light to use because the app is needed for the light to work!!🤬

Been with Ai nearly 4 years now, and I have regretted it, had the Hydra 26 HD lights abs loads of problems, then upgraded to the Hydra 32 HD lights more problems, I have continually contacted Aqua illumination for help and now a year on guess what my lights are now out of warranty and stuck with lights that don’t work properly, and this app is so poor, literally 2 maybe 3 updates in a year if u are lucky!!! And it’s not intuitive and has no built in presets unlike Ecotech Mobius has loads of updates and built in presets in the app, customer support is very good. 
End note!! Save your money Do Not Buy Hydra Light!!! And don’t use this app!!!

I was absolutely amazed by the amount of functionalities available to control the lights from the app. From the colour spectrum to the various setup it makes the reefing so much easier and entertaining using this app. Fully recommended to the marine tank experts as well as the new joiners 👍

This seemed like a great idea to begin with - and it worked to begin with. It won’t connect now. Says the device is off line. Says time out. Sometimes registers one light but I have two. Very expensive kit to have such poor control. Rubbish.

This app doesn’t work..tried 4 devices (iphone 8, Ipad, iphone 6) and it doesn’t work.

Tried with iphone 7 and that’s the only one which works..sadly I don’t have one..

You finish the setup and then..connection timeout. Light on the actual prime light is green so connection is constant.

You cannot reach their customer service as the phone is never accessible!

Super expensive and app doesn’t work!!!

I purchased 2 of the AI Prime HD Lights as an upgrade due to my previous led lights failing, I was a little apprehensive before buying these as I was not used to this way of controlling lights via an App, I had some good tips from the owner of the store on best settings etc and he guided me through the set up with ease, very please with the App and the lights, the colours and effects you can use are fantastic with endless choice of settings and light spectrum for your tank at various times of the day, very simple to set up and use, highly recommended.

Being a fan of Hydra I had the 52 and used the directional control and it was amazing. Plain, simple and you just did what you needed to do with ease. 

I now have AI 26' HD and have to use this app. It's a pain. Trying to set it exactly how you want is a nightmare. The ramp times are just not as good as the 52.. better light quality but features with this app are hard to set up. 

So my review is a medium for all, nothing great. They have gone to fancy when all you need is plain and simple as the light units do the fancy work for you.
