I made the mistake of signing up to premium and found no additional graphs etc at all - certainly nothing that I would use. Now my premium has come to an end there is a really annoying pop up almost every time the app is launched, that you cannot bypass or cancel for around 10 seconds. I’ve tried premium and found it of no benefit, so stop the annoying pop up! If it was useful I would subscribe but it isn’t. 21/09/2021: Reducing the number of stars. STILL sending reminders to add premium. Please add the option to turn this off!! Surely when someone has said no more than 50 times you should get the message. The initial set up of the home two units (the mains powered indoor ’brain tower’ and the battery outdoor unit is expensive for what you see at first, but it packs a lot under the hood. Adding in the rain gauge and wind anemometer once you have them is a no brainer, especially if you buy them from the official site and get free mounts. You can also buy up to 3 additional battery powered units to put inside for room temperature and Co2 (not sure why they didn’t do carbon monoxide too?) I really recommend getting the MyAtmo app too, and the premium £8.99 PA sub, it gives you all the data like traditional more expensive weather stations do. All in all, it’s cost me around £300 and I’ve got a fantastic set up, all the data I could want as an amateur, and AppleWatch complications too. Since writing the above I have installed the Apple Watch support. This is also excellent and gives you the current Netatmo data on your watch as well as graphs. Very impressive! It is amazing how the developers have continued to improve this App by adding new features on a regular basis. However their app wins on the historic graphing of temps whereas this app fails to display more than a very short history. Either the data is being locked out by Netatmo or the developer doesn’t think anyone wants to know the history. I’m trying to protect a property in minus 25c winter temps with 4 sensors so the history helps me as a reference point for past outdoor temp change. The developer of this app would be wise to use that available data on the app to make it better than it is. Netatmo’s own app wins on this front, this app wins on most other fronts. Highly disappointed in this developer who took payment from me and others last year under the promise you’ll never be asked again then this year they forgot that and they think people are going to be happy to make ongoing payments! So they basically want to milk their customers relentlessly and their promise was BS. I like that the developer is constantly improving the app, fixing bugs etc which shows a commitment to the product. I run an independent weather station in Southern England, with Davis instruments as my primary kit, and Netatmo as backup. My main use for this app was to display daily Netatmo rainfall as a Watch complication, which was disabled as a free option in a recent update. I initially took away two stars for this but on reflection I have taken out a premium subscription and had a chance to look in detail at what the app offers. I have to say that what I found amazed me. The plethora of graphs available is seriously impressive and the app is implemented in a polished and beautiful way. Quite simply these in-app purchases are VERY GOOD value for money, and these developers deserve to be paid for the hard work they clearly put into this software. Updates are frequent and support is second to none. I would love to be able to produce an app like this!
