### **--- "No iPad app, app littered with ads"
There’s no dedicated iPad app, so when it opens on an iPad Pro (which is always in Landscape Orientation) it’s sideways. It works otherwise, but looks extremely dumb. In order to know when to refill my humidifier, I need to leave push notifications on, but that also means I get pestered with notifications telling me to “act now to save” on x product that I don’t need or want.

Overall a well-made app for controlling my OnTracs. I really appreciate the new ability to customize the EQ fully. 

The only thing I wish could be fixed is the discrepancy between what the app reports as the dB reading of “In Ear Sound” and what the iPhone reports. For example, listening to a song on my phone, the app reports it as ~60dB yet my iPhone’s headphone level through Control Centre shows it as ~75dB. This discrepancy causes the iPhone’s built-in “Reduce Loud Audio” to not function correctly with these headphones and plays the audio much quieter than they should. I know this app has its own setting to limit audio to 80dB, however since I also have AirPods it would be nice to use iPhone’s setting to keep it consistent across the board.

These days, all robot vacuum comes with great app. Dyson app is kind of lag behind. Can’t divide the zone in angle. Only zones can be divided horizontal or vertical. Seriously, home can’t have angled walls. Algorithm of cleaning is not great.

### *---- "The worst pairing process out of any product I’ve ever used."
Trying to set up my air purifier using this app was a nightmare. So much so that I just gave up. It never successfully worked, despite spending hours trying to get it to. The pairing process is unnecessarily convoluted. I have to wait for the first menu to error out because my device isn't listed, then I have to select "air purifier," scan the serial number on the bottom of it, and wait for the previous menu to fail again. I then have to go through a bunch of prompts, enter my Wi-Fi password, and hold the button on the front of it for five seconds. Next, I have to go to settings and connect to its Wi-Fi, wait for it to go through the pairing menu, and then it will say it couldn't scan the serial number. So, I have to re-pick it up and awkwardly hold it, wait for a second, and it will just give me a generic "couldn't add machine" error. This kicks me out, and I have to restart the entire process again. This is absolutely unacceptable for a machine that cost $600+.

Great machine, beautifully packaged, but a nightmare to set up. You have to download and print a 14 page manual at your expense, then try to find what you need. There is no quick setup guide, except for a tiny one that has vague little icons that are as much help as hieroglyphics. I think that for an expensive machine, a proper printed manual that is clear and leaves nothing to the imagination is not too much to ask.

Our Dyson air purifier has been getting us through Okanagan wildfire summers since we bought it in 2018. We leave the furnace fan on full time and the air purifier does a fabulous job of eliminating wildfire smoke pollutants from the whole house. Best purchase ever!!!!

### *---- "Terrible Refund Process - Still Waiting After 30 Days!"
I am extremely disappointed with the refund process at Dyson. I have been waiting 30 days to get my refund for the Dyson Airwrap™ multi-styler and dryer Complete long (Prussian Blue/Copper), far beyond the 14 days stated on their website. I have had numerous chats with several agents (including Janvi, Kashish, and Abhishek), all of whom provided the same information without resolving my issue. Despite being assured that my returned product has been received, I am still waiting for my refund. This delay has caused me to cancel my travel plans. Dyson's handling of this situation is unacceptable and frustrating.

The reason I returned the product is that it took too much time and required too many hair products to get the curls to stay. I also found that my hair had to be the perfect amount of dampness, which was tricky. Additionally, I did not use most of the attachments, which seemed like a waste of money. I would not have minded spending the money if it had worked better.

Due to this experience, I will not buy from Dyson again. I want to warn others about this issue before purchasing. Think twice before buying from Dyson as you may face similar problems.

Can’t call it back if I want to stop cleaning, Can’t locate where it is if it stuck somewhere! Map is not easy to use!!!!!!!
Update: yes it send the alert and sound but if I don’t  check it right away, later I won’t find where it is. Compare to the other brand robots, when check the map, it always shows where the robot is.
during the cleaning there is no way to stop it until it is finish or stuck.

I hoped to access support videos and product manuals through this app.  However, the app doesn’t accept my serial number, nor a friend’s serial number.

It would be very helpful to register by way of a model reference, rather than the serial number.

I tried buying one of their vacuums, but 10 years ago my thing was glitchy. It kept malfunctioning it kept stopping and starting I contacted support. They sent me some sort of new filter in the mail. I got so frustrated. I threw this vacuum into the street and smashed it. 

I have one of their fans this Bladless I keep downloading the app I keep connecting. It keeps telling me everything’s fine and then at the end it tells me something went wrong. I have spent so much time. This goddamn fan is sitting in my room taking up space everybody says cool fan. I say it doesn’t work.
