But before this latest update, in each registered food or meal, it would show if it had a big quantity of some vitamins, fibre or even too mush sugar or sodium, it was great to keep track on eat a balanced diet, specially for me that I always mix up what each stuff is (carbs, fat…).

Now in this update I don’t see any of that anymore and worries me if I’d be able to still keep a good track on how I was doing in single foods (not too much sugar, balance with other healthier choices…). I hope this feature will come back soon!

So this new update of 2026. 

Why was it implemented? Why fix something that isn’t broken.

You could see everything in one screen. Now you need to make extra steps to do what you could do previously smoothly and flawlessly. 

Now exercise can’t be copied from day to day. I’m sure there’s some new weird and cumbersome workaround. 

Myfitnesspal only competition now is the food database. Hopefully someone else will make a more efficient way to track things. 

Was a great app. Now it’s just forced upon long paying customers. 

Also it isn’t that cheap. Consideration for community? 

Not everyone is rich and can afford crazy prices. 

It seems like this whole move has been made arbitrarily. I’m sure community was ignored. 

Too bad that something great is now turning into a hot steaming pile of doo doo. 

Perhaps listen to your customers in future.

I am really baffled by the decision to change the interface to remove the ‘start’ ‘current’ and ‘change’ information on the progress charts. I’m sure it’s available elsewhere in the app but I haven’t found it yet, demonstrating that it’s been made less accessible. I have been using MyFitnessPal since 2013. I found that the quick and easily accessible progress tracker was something that MyFitnessPal offered over other calorie counter apps, so even while trying out others I always maintained my information in MyFitnessPal so I could easily track and access my progress trends. With that service now gone, I don’t have any reason to continue using MyFitnessPal.
