Good service

I think that this app is good. Finding relatives in your family history is such a fascinating journey. But there’s one thing that I think My Heritage fell short in and that when you pay for your DNA kit and send it off for testing I think that firstly they should at least given us a monthly payment subscription option instead of a yearly subscription fee that you have to pay in order to see the tree’s of your matches. I understand that genetic testing costs the company money but more people would find paying a monthly subscription easier than having to find the money for the full yearly payment.

Technical support is non-existent

If there are any problems, don’t expect any answers from technical support. Paying for access etc didn’t matter. There is no response to any support queries.

Very disappointed!

There is no way to check the status of your DNA. There’s no one to contact just a list of FAQs, I’ve been waiting about 2 months and nothing so far and no way of finding out how long it will take. Very disappointing.

Good but a lot to improve

I did the DNA test and had a problem with the results, but that was solved quickly with the costumer service. Paid version too expensive and I unfortunately didn’t notice any difference from the free version.

Unable to cancel free trial - illegal

This is incredible that in 2023 you don’t give people an option to cancel a free trial and I have the screen shots to proof. This is illegal. Having to ring ye to calcel it and low and behold it already pre recorded to enter your account information in order to cancel. I work in Tech and I’m absolutely appalled how you cannot do this yourself as an account holder to cancel the free trial. The poor misfortunes that you have swindled out of a lot of money!!!!! Awfullllllllllllll

Frustrating DNA

Find MyHeratige great but loads of problems getting my DNA results. First DNA did not arrive at lab in USA from Ireland. MyHeratige team was good sent me out another DNA kit and gave me 3months free subscription. Second DNA test done and sent to lab, this time in Germany which was sent on 6th January. Checked status on MyHeratige site on 8th February and DNA still not arrived at lab and I know it only takes a minimum of 5 days for post to get to Germany from Ireland. So frustrating.

Amazing

MyHeritage is the best to find people. I could find also a citizenship. I am really happy with the service.

I just want to say thank you. My grandfather has been dead since 2017 and this app me to show my mother a picture of him that could move. After seeing the moving picture she teared up and it felt he was still here. So again thank you
