With a little creativity and some help from the locals, you can make this place thrive. Improve the town to attract characters, from Chef Gino Delicioso and DJ Candy Supergroove to arcade owner, Vic Vector and Cap'n Ginny, the town pirate. Discover what the residents want and need, so that you can help them enjoy life in your Sim's new town. Design a hot tub or jukebox from scratch, build homes and businesses from the roof to the front door. Uncover special decorations and patterns as you explore the growing town. From the furniture and objects to the buildings to the town as a whole – each of your creations is unique. In MySims™, what you make... makes all the difference!

Build and customize an entire town — Your town is your own unique creation, from the design of the flower shop to the layout of a Mad Scientist’s laboratory, and beyond.

I’m updating my review because the recent update made a huge difference. The controls, such as rotating to see your builds from all sides, are so much better. I’m really enjoying the game. There is one control feature that would be the icing on the cake. I would love to be able to tilt the image up as I move around. Currently, it feels like my character is always looking at the ground. Would help a lot when navigating the town. Such a cute and entertaining game. I love finding new essences!

When I opened the App Store to look for a game to pass the time with, I was not expecting one of my favorite childhood games to be there. 
My inner child cried tears of joy to be back on the hunt for essences and building things for the people of her town. I really like the updates from the original, like the train not being for decoration and bringing you to a new part of your town! 
This is the OG Sims game so therefore it is way different than the current Sims games which have increased interaction options and modern methods to pick things (whiny review). This game doesn’t have the Simoleons aspect nor does it have anything that takes time to complete such as action/tasks where you aren’t actually playing the game. The turnoffs of the newer game(s) for me. 

They brought a classic game to be enjoyed on current devices which I for one greatly appreciate!

The newest update makes the camera less intuitive and removes gestures. The update also breaks the hold to go back in color in build mode. Had the game glitch in build mode forcing me to quit the game and lose progress (about 20 minutes worth). The game worked great before this latest update and now i’m getting all these problems. I hope this fix this.

Love everything. Little me would be happy that i finally was able to reach 5 stars ☺️. I was satisfied honestly, yes a little confusing but once u get the hang of where everything is and how to short cut some builds its super fun and addicting.

Great game! Reminds me exactly of the one I played on my Wii when I was a kid. Very nostalgic and cozy 🥰 controls are even easier on my mac so I’m making way more progress than I ever did back then!

I would rate 5 stars, however I don’t like the fact that I can’t remove furniture or decorations after placing them. In your sim’s home, the interior has some furniture already inside. After I’ve obtained new and better blue prints I want to build new furniture, but now I have two beds and and excess of counters that have nowhere to go so no matter what I do my sim’s house looks ugly and I can’t fully customize it. Same issue with all the other buildings in the game. Aside from this one issue the game is really fun and cute!

As someone who played this game in my childhood since 2008, I must say that the efforts to port this game into IOS compatibility is nothing short of magical work. This game means a lot to me, and people like me know how dysfunctional this game could be back on the Wii despite its charms, and I’m happy to say that most of the more annoying aspects of the original game are absent. Not only that, but I can see some cute new details that make the game much more enjoyable. I’m loving the addition of some ethnic hairstyles and more outfits. Brava, developers!

That being said, I do find it a bit sad that the Sims I’m meeting aren’t walking about the town, playing or talking to one another, much less interacting with the things in their home. I’m sure this must be some sort of bug, but I hope this issue can be fixed soon. I’d love to see my old friends having fun together like they used to.

Either way, it’s a blessing that we have technology that can allow these type of games to be played on a handheld device. 7 year-old me would never have believed it! Thank you for all of your hard work. Also, don’t listen to those newgen players nitpicking over autosaves and “bad design”, they don’t know you like we do. Working on porting a game this old cannot be easy!

I hate that. It would be better if you could get good looking furniture without using the essences they ruin the furniture. And you should be able to marry sims. Honestly it’s your life. You should be able to choose your life. Like in story of seasons pioneers of olive town were you can marry whoever. Ps i marry Raina.I recommend it for building lovers. Farm lovers on the story of seasons. I love the sims games and story of seasons games. Don’t forget to check out both! Ps story of seasons on ps4 and ps5. ps pioneers of olive towns my favorite one! If you want to marry rains get a blue feather when she’s your girlfriend then with full hearts go to the museum between 12 am and 5 pm will be cutscene after the cutscene you can propose to her hope this helps!
