Good app, quick to load and show relevant information, but please please please get rid of the annoying start “Experience a Sunny Lifestyle” or at least give the option to tick a box “Don’t Show This Again” instead of “skip”. You only need to see this once, not every time.

The solar edge app fails to update on a regular basis. At present it is 2 hrs 45 mins, has been over 20 hours. Rebooted WiFi and didn’t resolve situation.

Since the last update the app did not show the electricity used by the house from solar and battery. 
It only showed amount of electricity drawn from the grid and the amount produced by the solar panels. Today the app has started to work again on iPhone and iPad.

Can’t access it because of password problems as the reset option doesn’t work. Normally the app works fine but recently became flaky and there’s no support available when you’re not able to access the inverter.

Like most people when you get Solar you track it everyday, I do with a spreadsheet.
I enter total Production, Exported, Battery and Direct Solar used as well as all the use from Total, Grid, Battery and Solar.
Yet after an update all the figures I have recorded are now incorrect and do not match what the app stated previously.  Was the app recording incorrectly for the past two years or are they trying to make the system look better? 
No notification from SolarEdge for the sudden uplift.
There is a new tab Export/Import but even these figures do not match the main total exported: Main screen 17.5 export tab 17.6, energy provider 17.65.

So take the figures with a broad brush knowing that next week it may all change again after another update.

The app is generally good however I’ve found it a little buggy with our solar edge ecosystem (inverter, home battery and EV charger). The time-of-use algorithm sometimes leaves our battery with zero charge just as the peak rate starts in the morning (it should be fully charged during the cheap rate period). We also had issues with the EV charging, the app showed electricity flowing into house rather than car. I also have different data on lifetime production between the app and the web dashboard (possibly something to do with the inverter being swapped out to fix the aforementioned EV charging issue). Overall it’s a good app with useful info, but scope to improve the reliability.

Not sure what has has happened to app but it has gone from its very nice format to absolutely horrible over last few days. Difficulties logging in. Screens not the same- now one huge screen which you have to pan across and difficult to access data. Tried deleting and reloading but no improvement ! What is going on ?
