Great baby monitor. The watch them grow compilation option needs work as unless your baby is lying still & awake face up for a while every day it doesn’t work. 
The video history also seems to have periods where it doesn’t record.
But the camera, quality, and majority of other features are really great. I still highly recommend

I love the camera. I hate how greedy Nanit are. You pay a small fortune for the most expensive camera on the market and then after 1 year they expect you to pay a subscription for all the features in the app. Absolute ripoff. Talk about having your cake and eating it too.

We love Nannit as we get to watch our twin grandsons when they are asleep.  They are in NYC and we are in Sydney Australia, so the time difference is hard. Nannit has bridged that gap.

### ***** "Perfect for a first time parent!"
The Nanit Baby cam is the best. From the first visit home to now 5months into our baby journey, this app has eased our minds. From monitoring of room temp & humidity to milestone tracking, seeing how long Bub has slept for etc… it it the best! 

Whilst it is on the expensive side, it is worth every dollar & we have 100% peace of mind knowing our baby is being monitored accurately & safely. The features are 10/10 and I highly recommend.

Nanit have removed all of the details they used to provide for free and moved them behind a paywall. Absolutely disgraceful.
My sister was about to buy one but we have warned her off and will be advising all our friends to consider the large number of great alternatives. 
We now have to manually record sleeps and further details. What is the point of paying for an over priced baby monitor with 0 additional features

Love all the data it collects, it makes all the stress of wondering if my baby is getting sleep or not go away. Plus I never had to remember to write things down, while sleep deprived, as the Nanit has it all there for me stored so easily to find. I found it reduced my stress levels of worry about checking on my baby constantly also. Love it and would highly recommend it to all parents.

App features are great but the video stream takes ages to load, also connecting the device to a new wifi can be quite a struggle with having to repeat the connection process several times

The newest version is always resetting the volume of the white noise to a very loud. I can’t just turn on the white noise, I need to now adjust volume as well. Playing a loud white noise is very dangerous for the babies!

Overall, the Nanit camera is a top-tier baby monitor that combines excellent video quality, smart features, and a thoughtful design. Its advanced sleep tracking and non-invasive breathing monitoring set it apart from many competitors. Although it comes with a higher price tag and a subscription service for full functionality, the benefits and peace of mind it offers are well worth the investment.

I would recommend this to anyone having a child.

Sometimes the app does weird things like not pick up sound or move bet of the baby but then will pick up the movement of light into the room or sound from another floor. 

For a baby product, and while we think it’s good, it has to be better and more reliable. It is still the best there is to buy. 

The advanced metrics is just soo expensive … need to get a reality check on this.

Honestly the hardware is rubbish. It took buying a $15 Xiaomi camera to realise that baby monitors cameras don’t need to be blurry and fuzzy, they can be crystal clear in light and dark. And baby monitor microphones don’t need to produce a loud background noise constantly, they can be whisper silent except for the actual noises you want. And you don’t need to pay a giant subscription for access to activity and “insights”, the cheap brands give you replay and timestamped motion/noise for free. I wish it hadn’t taken me years to work this out. Nanit is overpriced over-marketed rubbish basically.

The camera itself is great, the app works well. Nothing to not like. But $180 for one year to be able to save a few videos and see what time they woke up ( which is never picked up correctly) is a joke. Bring some reasonable prices or different tiers to your subscription service

### *---- "Permanent text over my video feed asking me to upgrade to $179 per year subsrciption"
This was the last straw. Was already sick of being shown ads on what feels like a weekly basis to upgrade, not there’s permanent text over my child’s video feed asking me to upgrade. The hardware is not cheap, and there’s no reasonably priced subscription if you wanted to support the company with a reasonable amount (say $5 per month).

Worried that the company is financially unstable if they’re getting this desperate for new subscriptions. Since they run everything through a cloud service, their expensive hardware will be useless if they go under.

I’ve recommended Nanit to at least 6 friends, won’t be recommending this anymore.

Also, no Homekit integration.

Seriously, it has a camera, light, thermometer, and it can detect motion but none of that is accessible through Homekit. Some developers in the Homeassistant community have got it working but I don’t have the technical understanding to make that work, but at least it proves it’s possible. There’d be so many useful integrations you could set up, and I hate having to use their slow app when checking on my house before I go to bed.
