Nanit

You guys introduced a prediction feature that’s supposed to anticipate when a child should fall asleep. That might sound great, but for the past two weeks the app has been logging my baby’s sleep incorrectly. How can a nighttime wake-up and feeding be recorded as a daytime nap? It also keeps making mistakes with the evening sleep. My child sleeps from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., yet the camera reports sleep from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m., with the rest split into random fragments. On top of that, the “AI” responses are low quality, and when I email support I get an auto-reply saying that channel no longer works. I’m paying for this service and not getting what I’m supposed to receive. So why roll out new features if you can’t maintain the basics?

Really disappointed with Nanit. 1) Clips for motion detected and sound detected routinely show “Oops We were unable to generate a clip for this event”. I have saved screenshots of this. 2) Night summaries routinely miss out events. Many times my night summary failed to show the baby being taken out of bed or put to bed. I have saved videos of this. 3) I would get a motion detected event and review the footage and there would be absolutely zero motion. I have saved videos of this. 4) I have noticed certain events are completely missing without an event or included in a summary. I would tend to my baby halfway through the night and the whole event full of sound and motion would be completely missing. 5) Having video history behind a paywall after having paid over $350 for this camera is ridiculous especially given the above functions routinely don’t work. 6) When I raise tickets for help, many tickets are left unresolved. Some are left with “we were checking with our engineers and will get back” with no reply for months. The troubleshooting always has me performing silly checks on my network at home. There’s zero problems with my network and WiFi. Many of these problems are with your cloud process in generating summaries and clips. Overall, incredibly disappointed in this and unless they are addressed, I will be warning all other mommies and parents to stay away from Nanit. Absolutely unacceptable experience so far.

Used this for 3 years without problem, but I updated the app today and it won't open anymore.

Very good camera but quite expensive and some of the features we never used

WiFi always got disconnected and we need to go and check Adding in a lot of extra subscription model to charge you extra - this is frustrating, can you at least let us use the full version of insight premium in the first year before trying to upselling your saas model? I hope you take care of longer term customer experience than just ripping off short term

Wifi signal is weak. Bought a booster, still weak. Went as far as moving the router etc to the room, and still 1bar of signal. Otherwise it’s a really great setup.
