Natural Cycles: Birth Control

It's a bit weird but I registered and clicked the option that I don't own any device but thinking of purchasing Oura ring. Then app suggested me to choose a measuring device and only Apple watch was available which I don't have. Okay, I picked that one and next is - subscribe. How can I subscribe if I haven't seen the app yet? There's no "back" button or key, no option to use without an electronic device and so on. Only preview pictures that may vary from the real user interface. I understand that the purpose of the app is also to promote their branded thermometers but little fyi basal temperature can be measured with anything that measures temperature. I was only looking for an app where I can track the BBT visually presented in a graph.

The app works perfectly, I have experienced no crashes or bugs with the app. I like you blog in the app and your funny notifications. The only suggestion - improve your thermometer ( remembering temperature and lifespan). Keep going and I wish your team a great future worldwide 🚀

Please consider this application carefully. It states that it guarantees 93-98% accuracy - but is 2-7% risk worth it? 7% risk means that almost 1 out of 10 cases may result in pregnancy. And what about STDs? Please think for yourselves and use other more reliable contraceptives like condoms (almost 100% contraception guarantee and protects from STDs). This app offers +- the method our grandmothers and mothers used - and still many of us were born. Guess you would like to have more control over your body than that.

Few weeks ago the application just stopped to work and doesn’t work till now. I have a lot of important information for the last 4 months..what happened?! Ok, worked 3 weeks. And today doesn’t work again?!! What is the problem the third time?!

To be honest.. after a year I wasn’t going to continue using this app. It was just too expensive compared to Fertility friends that does the same thing. And the graph is better in FF. And sometimes NC got the ovulation wrong. I started using this app thinking I would practice NFP after becoming Catholic, but eventually I changed my mind and used it to try to get pregnant. After 11 cycles it still hadn’t happened and I was thinking about cancel my subscription once the year had passed. Then I got pregnant in cycle 12. Unfortunately it ended in a miscarriage and that’s when the app switched to ‘recovery mode’. Of the 4-5 apps I have to monitor the cycle (due to different features I would love to see in NC), this was the only one that seemed to understand that my cycle wouldn’t be normal after a miscarriage. The recovery mode was just what I needed after loosing my child while the other apps suddenly thought my short cycle had become long and suggested Ovulation at day 14 without really looking at any signs or temperatures. Would i recommend this app? Yes, I would. It still too expensive and lack some features like premom has and it doesn’t take fertility signs into consideration, which I think it should. But all an all the mode you probably don’t want to find yourself in, made it all worth it.

Now that you’re powered by Apple Watch, please make an Apple Watch app for easy logging! That would make logging so much simpler. And checking fertility status, of course. Would love to only have to open the app on my phone when I want to catch up on deeper insights and analyses.
