Issues after a day
This app is terrible. Quality is so bad aswell, I purchased the monthly premium league pass and have only been able to watch one game before this app started glitching. I logged in to watch another game and this app is saying I need to “upgrade league pass to access live games” I have been contacting nba support the pass 4 days now and they have not done anything to help me with my situation. 30 plus dollars to watch a single game down the drain and they do nothing.
Extremely frustrating to use. Not worth the high price-point
The layout and different features offered from the league pass within the app are great. Although, this is the expectation for the high price-point. For example, being able to switch between team commentaries and see real time stats is awesome. Unfortunately… you can’t get through 5 minutes of using these features without finding a problem. The number of frequent glitches in the app ruins the enjoyment of using these features especially for a paid service. The constant frustration of the video freezing on a black screen after watching 30 seconds of a game is ridiculous - especially when casting to the TV and have to refresh the app on my phone for it to work. There are times where I’ve been logged into league pass and the app is saying I don’t have access to games and need to buy league pass… Other issues include: - Games not showing up when they are live - Slow loading times and poor quality streams - Just randomly pausing while I’m watching - Stats not updating in line with the timing of the game And these are not issues with the instalment or internet connection - all of my friends have the same issues. For a billion dollar league and charging $150+ for league pass, these issues are completely below the standard of modern day streaming networks. This isn’t anything new either, the app has been terrible from a user experience perspective for years.
Consistently buggy Things not loading
Consistently buggy. App crashing, box scores not loading, schedule not loading. 80% of time I get the Couldn’t refresh games…. Retry… still broken…. App is consistently buggy would get 4 stars but it only works fine about 10% of the time. Mobile app is very poor!

PS5 NBA App
No matter whether it’s live or watching a past game, there’s always a “something went wrong” message pop up on our tv and exits the app entirely. frustrates me and my dad because we can’t watch a full nba game without being interrupted and inconvenienced because the app crashes when we watch it on the PS5. Paid lots of money for league pass and most of the time doesn’t work, not to mention it keeps signing us out so we are always signing in when we click on the app and so it’s a ritual of signing in 30 minutes before the game starts because of buffering issues… please fix this
