The app is great, but I just have one question. If you want to just like view match stats and scores do you have to pay too, or do you only have to pay a subscription if you want to watch matches. And please let me know if you have to pay to get full usage of the app or do you just have to pay to watch the matches.
I was told via mail at the beginning of the play-in that if I subscribe for a month that time, I’ll be able to watch till end of Finals! That’s not true though! As I’m now being asked to subscribe again just to watch remaining games.
Any problem with the nba app ?
It’s really embarrassing that the NBA can have such a crappy and buggy app. It often crashes and their streaming server is just ridiculously bad. You will watch 20secs then it freezes, lowers the quality to a resolution that it’s unwatchable to then freeze again. A 2hour game will take 4 hours to watch. It’s absurd. I have been a paying customer for 10years but this is it for me after talking to customer service (Olivia G.) where I just got useless advise and no help whatsoever. I would have at least expected some sort of support and then trying to make up but they don’t care!

Whether on iphone, ipad, laptop, or apple tv the app is clunky buggy. The stream slips, the quality dips randomly to lowest, and scrubbing through the stream is impossible. I don’t remember ever being able to finish a whole game because of all the bugs this thing has. Come on Microsoft! The playoffs are coming ‘round already!

So I got nba league pass yesterday without being logged into a account and I got a message saying “ thank you for you’re purchase please sign in or sign up” and I did try to login in like 5 times but everytime i tried it would send me back to the main menu and id get the same thank you sign in or blah blah blah, I than contacted support and they told me to uninstall the app and power down my phone and I did and it didn’t work, I even showed them proof of the email saying I bought league pass but they told me again to do the same exact thing, uninstall and power down and I did and it didn’t work, I’ve tried contacting again but seems like they’re off right now, I just don’t know what to do, I don’t want to buy it again but I want to watch all laker games and don’t want to use some illegal stream
I love this game
I have noticed (and reported many times over) that recorded games are almost unwatchable in the middle east (note: I dont have this issue when traveling outside the middle east). After months of investigation, the support team says they cant replicate the issue, so it must be a problem with me… (although I have no issues with any streaming service except for the NBA one, and have zero issues with same equipment when traveling outside the region). I have been a subscriber since the beginning of this service and watch approx. 100 games in full per year… this year is the absolute worst in terms of experience. So much for progress. Am looking for alternatives… Very disappointed NBA fan…
