I like how the categories are broken down and limited questions at a time which helps me not feel overwhelmed. I do feel like the percentage for each area rarely changes which is disappointing. I can get all the questions right or maybe 1 wrong & the score hasn’t changed no matter how many quizzes I take in that category

The first day is pretty alright, but after that nothing on the app works; every time you click any button whatsoever, it prompts you to buy the premium version. No use in downloading this. Don’t waste your time.

This app keeps freezing and erasing progress when I have to reinstall.

After I had purchased a subscription, the app stopped working. It would not load and immediately shut down, bringing me back to my Home Screen.

I went through the purple encyclopedia and this app. Some questions mirrored the encyclopedia but had conflicting answers. It was confusing to say the least, considering how much this app cost to use. As I keep progressing, questions are confusing and answers mirror each other with a slight word switch, but still means the same thing. Who is writing these questions? I am disappointed in this app and hope to get a refund. Another update: taking 40 question quiz and got an answer wrong, supposedly. The question came up in the missed question section so I chose the answer that the app said was correct from the original quiz, then it said that answer was wrong, and that my original answer from the original quiz was correct. Seriously!!!! Offering me a gift card doesn’t fix the conflicting answers you provide which I feel only sets me up to fail.

This app is nice when it works and can get the free but I'm not paying just for my daily quiz

I have enjoyed using this app to help me study for my upcoming CPCE exam, but find a lot of the same questions are asked. Specific theorists and famous experiments are used far more than others (Bowlby is one of them). Also, if you have an older generation iPad like myself (a 2018), whenever they add new questions your app will regularly crash until you delete it and redownload, thus losing all of your data. I think it’s a great support but the bugs in the app itself are frustrating. There are also some questions that are worded very strangely that make it confusing, but there is a feature to report questions that don’t make sense which I found helpful.

Get way to review, along with the Purple and Orange book, for the NCE! Worth way more than some of the online exam preps costing way more.

This app (and equally so the accompanying podcast, Passing the Counseling NCE Exam) helped me refresh, learn, and practice to pass the NCE. The NCE has 400 questions in two 200 question blocks. If you string a bunch of these practice exams togethers, it can help practice sitting and doing question after question after question when you’re sitting for the official one. I really like how this app gamified the studying process. The little badges to earn were fun. I also appreciated the “learn” mode with concise explanations of the correct answer. It gave me a place to explore/review when I didn’t understand other options or terms. I don’t think it’s enough on its own, but this and the podcast is how I did almost all of my studying.
