News24: Trusted News. First

The news on here is decent but it is not the level of NYTimes or Business Insider which have real investigative journalism. I would rather go with IOL, interface is weaker but news is less biased and is every now and then actually original and not just rewritten off of elsewhere.

News24 is the best news app out there.

I live in Ireland and this is a great app to keep me up to date with happenings at home!

Keeps me ip to date with news in SA

This is an app that I refer to several times a day. The newest releases have worked smoothly and have been a pleasure to use. This is South African perspective news delivered hot and fresh to your mobile!

I am an ex pat looking for a taste of local news and international news from a local perspective. And rugby insights. App works like clockwork and it is free free free. Interested in SA or how they view world news? This is a must have app.

Won't startup since iOS upgrade to 4.3.3

I am a subscriber and I subscribed through Apple. Every - single - time I open the app I am logged out. Sometimes I can log back in but often the login fails. The proposed solution? Delete and reinstall the app. Not good enough!

As a long time supporter of both the web and app, time has come to cancel my subscription. The app has become an add market, with the adds taking more screen space than the actual news. I understand the need for multiple revenues, but running add campaigns are better left for non-subscribers and not your paying base. Today was the last time for me to click on an annoying add while trying to scroll, sub cancelled and back to free news on the web for me.
