I have been playing a lot of Micromon, the precursor to this game. I already have noticed improvements in this game, the only downside so far is I don’t like the UI for this game. Micromon had such a good UI that was simple and fun to use.

Nexomon has been my favorite phone game for so long. I reas all the 1-3 star reviews and they are all the same. “It needs controller support” along with “its just story hardly any battles”. And I have a response to that. 

1) “it needs controller support” no it doesn't, you just need to get used to the game controls. If you want to play controller so badly, get it on the switch. Stop complaining.👹
2) “it’s just story hardly any battles” so what? Some games are like that and if you don't like it then find a different game.💀

I for one love the story. It’s well thought out and has so much detail. The Nexomon not only are super cute and really cool looking, but the movements are so smooth. I have been playing this nonstop for the past 26 hours now and I have been doing loads of battles trying to raise my Nexomon’s levels and evolve them to fill the database. The more you collect, the higher the chance to find a Legendary! ☺️ I caught a Luhava out of the blue while I was raising my Nexomon. So worth it. Also the experience you gain from battling is amazing. I got to level 30 just by defeating level 5 Nexomon in the span of an hour or so 😭 I love it! Give me more Nexomon 👹❤️

Very fun game I love the adventure it’s a bit hard to get levels because you just have to train in the grass but you still level up very fast. All the bosses are moderate difficulty as long as you heal but, I feel like omnicron is a bit overpowered because he has a super effective move for your Nexomon. But other than that I love it.

So. Unlike most people. I played Nexomon 2 first before playing Nexomon 1. I’d like to say that certain things were improved in the 2nd one but other things were simplified when they shouldn’t have been. I prefer the story in Nexomon 2 over the story in this one. However. Both of them are actually very good. Having gone from the 2nd to the 1st. I don’t understand the simplification of battle mechanics. In this one no one element is set to learn only that element’s abilities. In fact. As soon as I started I realized one of my grass Nexomon had a wind ability and could wipe out other grass types. However in the 2nd you can only learn normal/ your element based moves. I also enjoyed the dialogue a lot more in this one. The 2nd was toned down for a younger audience. For some reason. Maybe to sell more copies? While this one had much more edge and charisma. And a much more adult themed ambiance. Much better in my opinion. Anyway. The monster designs in this one were pretty epic. And unlike the 2nd one the difficulty does ramp up significantly later on if you’re not prepared. Ziegler is a force to be reckoned with. I also enjoyed the ability to equip abilities whenever you like. Unlike the 2nd one where you have to buy and replace your current abilities to learn/ relearn another. Overall. After 44 hours of gameplay. I’d give Nexomon 1 an 8/10. And I’d highly recommend both to anyone looking to play a very well designed monster catcher. Here’s to you Nexomon 3. Whenever you release. And. Thank you developers. Keep up the good work.

I played through the entire game nonstop! It is soooo amazing. The plot of the story is fantastic, it includes a few twists and turns along with a few ironic jokes. The Nexomon have clever names, cool evolutions and can be trained even past level 100! This is way more than I could've imagined for the price. Nexomon is truly the best Pokémon-like game that you can get on your mobile device.

I only bought this game cause my boyfriend bought me Extinction as an early Christmas present. He’s not gonna be here for Christmas and knew I’d enjoy the game. Kinda underhanded to use a game you know someone will like to avoid getting chewed out for working on Christmas lol. Anyways so far I like this game just as much as I did Extinction. However it’d be nice if the game had Bluetooth controller compatibility. It’d make it a lot easier for the game to be played with controller support.

Fun game. It’s slightly similar to Pokémon, but not really. You’ll spend about 70% of your time reading dialogue, 20% walking, and 10% battling Nexomom. At any point, your Nexomon can defeat or be defeated by 1 or 2 moves. The element system is not balanced. It’s a good try at a Pokémon-like game. Hopefully, the second version is better.

Amazing game and story! This game made me laugh and almost cry and was better than any of the mainline Pokémon stories (except Gen 5). I loved the fourth wall breaking, And all the characters actually have personality and charm to them! My only gripe would be the leveling system, but besides that, this game is a gem, definitely worth the 💵 to play this game

Really nice game, not hard so good for casuals like me, great monster designs and flexible mechanics so there’s little “regret factor” and you can change monsters up at any time. Any chance of an update to accommodate newer phone dimensions? On my iPhone 13 the game is zoomed in too much, cutting off the top and bottom of the game screen, and the notch obscures some of the game on the sides.

I love how it’s on mobile and it can be played anywhere on the go, it makes waiting times so much faster with this game. Yes, it’s absolutely worth the money! This version, including Nexomon 2 on console, is way more pricier than buying both on mobile, so I highly recommend buying this here if you can. There’s a lot of to do in this game and a lot of monsters to capture and befriend. It does offer hours and hours of fun. I had a few laughters here and there because some of the dialogues were funny. This is a lot like Pokémon if you love that genre, you’ll love this one!
