Sadly this new version has changed the font size settings which now makes it harder to read along with as my eyesight is not 20/20. There is such a small difference between normal and large font size that it is basically useless. The perfect voice for a bible reading app. He is magnificent to listen to and I find that he makes me appreciate familiar passages in a different way. I really appreciate the effort this recording must have taken. He clearly worked hard to understand the passage so as to read it with the right inflections. As for the app itself. I listen in the car. When the car stops he sometimes starts reading in my pocket. He can read all day if my volume is down and completely drain the battery. Also when I listen in the car the app doesn’t remember where I got up to. I find it annoying that the only option for playing the audio is verse-by-verse or endless reading. There is a sleep timer but it’s only time based. David Suchet has done an excellent job at bringing the scriptures alive. I am using this app to read the Bible cover to cover. A couple of users have commented that this app does not allow the user to pick up from where one was last reading. Not correct. Simply pause the reading at the bottom of the page and when you open the app next time, open up the reading panel (speaker icon top right) and select the reading you were last reading.
