All experienced Boater know that Wave Period can be far more important than Wave Height. Time between waves (Wave Period) will define how good or bad the offshore conditions will be. If 4 foot waves have 10 seconds between wave it will be a super enjoyable day. If 4 foot waves have 5 seconds between wave it will be an awful day.
