In musical notation, a key signature is a set of sharp or flat symbols placed together on the staff. Key Trainer is design to help you get a better understanding of key signature for the Treble, Bass, Alto, and Tenor Clef.
Whether you play a guitar, piano, viola, or the tuba, this app will be useful for you. Your music reading ability will increase as you learn the theory behind the circle of fifth. Extremely simple to use. Key Trainer lets you select from a choice of 4 clefs. 15 random questions will be asked with answers and an info chart is also provided.

-Select the octave range with a choice from 1-3 octaves

This includes bass, treble, alto and tenor clefs, unlike other fancier looking apps. You can test yourself on note names and all the major and minor keys. Substance over style. Mine has suddenly turned its display round 90 degrees and won’t go back to portrait mode.

Very flexible app. You can test key signatures in bass clef which can't be found in other more expensive apps. Design is a bit dated but overall it's a useful learning tool.

Note trainer works very well. It's a fantastic app which I have used to greatly improve note recognition and also to identify key signatures and their relative minors. Highly recommended.
