Recognize nature in one click! Take a photo in Europe or the Dutch Caribbean and find out which species it is. Collect all your wildlife observations in the app. You'll be rewarded with tips to find new species, earn badges, and be invited to join challenges. Create groups with colleagues, family or friends, to share your stunning nature observations. Your observations, and those of others, contribute to biological research and knowledge about nature. Every observation counts!

ObsIdentify only recognizes wild animals, plants and mushrooms in Europe and the Dutch Caribbean. Please do not use the app for selfies, people, pets, house or garden plants.

The image recognition in ObsIdentify is made possible by millions of observations from thousands of users of Waarneming.nl, Waarnemingen.be and Observation.org. ObsIdentify is a product of the Observation International Foundation, in collaboration with Naturalis Biodiversity Center (The Netherlands) and Natuurpunt (Belgium).

Ik vind het een heel fijne app maar als planten liefhebber vind ik het jammer dat er geen onderverdelingen zijn bij de planten, zelfs geen grote groepen terwijl er zoveel zijn alleen al binnen de insecten. Wordt hieraan gewerkt?

Super leuke app om de diversiteit in onze tuin in kaart te brengen betreffende wilde dieren. Werkt zelf goed op wazige foto’s. Leuk dat de zeldzaamheid ook wordt weergegeven.

Jammer maar de app begint meer en meer flink naast te slaan. Verschillende soorten waren mis en zelfs vandaag een simpele kruisbes zou een groene schildwants zijn of een zachte ooievaarsbek… Gelukkig bestaat er het almachtige google met zijn lens. Tot hier toe zeer accuraat. Appje gaat de vuilbak in…

Op mijn toestel is deze app geblokkeerd op “verwerken”. Heb app al verwijderd en terug geïnstalleerd. Blijft op verwerken.

Als allereerste test fotografeerde ik 2 sanseveria’s. Er was geen enkele correcte benaming vd planten. Ergernis ontstaat wanneer je het correcte resultaat niet aan de AI kan aanleren of minstens aangeven dat alle voorgestelde benamingen fout zijn.

### ****- "Leerrijk en inspirerend"
Heel accurate herkenningssoftware. Ik maak er veel gebruik van. Met deze app leer je om je heen te kijken. plots ontdek je zoveel meer variatie in de tuin of in het park. Er zit ook een spelelement in doordat je badges en sterren kan verzamelen. Ik zou het een meerwaarde vinden om een lijst met je waarnemingen per soort/ badge te kunnen zien. Je zou ook een ‘soorten-bingo’ kunnen bedenken waarbij je een vooraf bepaalde lijst planten of dieren moet vinden en fotograferen. Heeel leuk!

Heel leuke app! Fijn om te weten te komen wat er rondkruipt en -vliegt in de tuin. 

Het zou fijn zijn om je waarnemingen ook per soort te kunnen zien, in plaats van de lange lijst met waarnemingen chronologisch geordend. Bij de badges van bijen zou het bijvoorbeeld leuk zijn om daar je waarnemingen van bijen apart te kunnen bekijken, inclusief een lijst van de soorten die je gezien hebt.

Heel leuk om te weten te komen wat alle soorten in je buurt nu eigenlijk zijn! Wel jammer dat ik in de app geen andere taal kan kiezen, waardoor ik alle namen in het Engels te zien krijg (iphone app neemt automatisch de taal over van telefoon i.p.v. mijn profiel). Dus iets minder sterren hiervoor..

Al 6 keer een foto van mijn Zwitserse Witte Herder laten inschatten en het varieert van “niet zeker - rund” tot “99% zeker - schaap”. Heb hier toch wel mijn twijfels bij …🙄

### ****- "Eigen waarnemingen gewoon bewaren"
Het zou handig zijn mocht je eigen waarnemingen ook gewoon kon bewaren op je IPhone in de app zonder dat ze per se direct worden doorgestuurd naar waarnemingen.be en dus ook moeten worden aanvaard de moderator(bvb voor verwilderde planten ook als die niet bewust zijn uitgezaaid).   Of ook voor waarnemingen waarvoor je nog geen 100% zekerheid hebt.  Verder is deze app top, voor mij één de nuttigste die ik bijna dagelijks gebruik.

Handige en gebruiksvriendelijke app. Handig te gebruiken voor veldwaarnemingen. Mijn hondenras ken ik wel, maar sommige planten en insectensoorten zijn me vreemd. Hij geeft daar goede antwoorden op. Soms is het niet 100% zeker, dat laat hij weten. Dan kan je verder opzoeken met de gegevens die hij geeft. Het proberen meer dan waard!

Dit is rommel. Een gekende plant scannen en 3 x na elkaar een ander resultaat maar geen enkele was juist. Zelfs een gingko herkent hij niet. Veel bla bla....
