Predatory monetization banners
Predatory monetization banners much worse than the JP version of the game. Only paid step up banners, no reduced pity system for limited characters and only 15% chance to get banner char on the 5th step. This is an insult to the playerbase if you consider the prices for paid currency are already ridiculously high

An Experience Hard to Forget
I’ve played both Octopath 1 and 2 (Completed) and CotC for maybe a year and a half. With that, I can say that this is one of the best mobile games if you’re looking for a strategy-based rpg. Even with the somewhat annoying gacha system, it’s not too difficult to get five stars due to the generosity during events. Additionally, if you’re a f2p, so am I and I have completed the entire story, start to finish, just persevere.
