The app is named OENO ('eno') after the Goddess of Wine. According to Greek mythology, Oeno was the great-granddaughter of Dionysus, God of the Grape Harvest and Winemaking, who gave her the power to transform water into wine.
‘Oeno’ (UK) is commonly used as a prefix for words semantically connected to wine such as in oenology, the study of wine – or oenophile, a wine lover.

App not working

Is this app still being supported? Can’t even register for an account..
Great App but Needs Improvement
Love all the functionalities! However, scanning wine label to retrieve infomation from Vivino database often return a wrong wine or similar domain. For example, a bottle rosé was scanned as blanc (white). Hope to be able to search wine using keyword or update to the exact wine after scanning. Finally, linkage to Vivino account will be great. Thank you!
Cannot open the app after loading all my wines info
I spent 3 days to store my wines and update in this app. Now it’s telling me to update to newer version where I had already done that previously, and I am in the latest version . What’s wrong?
Verify account
Asked to check email to verify account but email took more than an hour to reach my inbox, and the verification code has expired by then. Is this a scam to collect personal data?
Rubbish
Can’t get anything to work in this app. When I was finally able to add a cellar without an ‘oops something went wrong’ error (extremely helpful btw) I then couldn’t add any of the wines I scanned to the cellar. I can’t do anything with this app.
Getting there
This app has a lot of potential, but isn’t intuitive to use. It is difficult to get wines on to the Wishlist. I would prefer if I could click on Wishlist, then search for wines to add to it rather than some convoluted 10 step process to get it there. As others have mentioned, the label scanner doesn’t work on the latest iPhone 14 pro. This isn’t the only app that has this issue where it doesn’t focus until you move right away. The representation of the cellar is excellent, and the extended info on each wine is great. Looking forward to the future improvements.
No support
My entire collection got deleted, Customer Service never responded.
Editing bottles and or manually updating.
Great app but can’t add new bottles not listed manually.. sent email also for tech support.
