Anyone else tired of every single app being a paid subscription? It makes me sick. I sat for 30 minutes answering personalized questions just to be ushered into a paywall. Of course they offer a free trial hoping that you forget about it when the real payment comes around. Why can't they make money through ads, or a single time payment. This world makes me sick, that the only way to be healthy is to go broke. 

Additionally, they ask if you have dietary restrictions, and include only a basic list. As someone with crohn's, I really wish that one of these apps cared enough to include information on foods that affect more serious conditions like ibs, crohns, celiac, etc.

I wish we had more ways to help correct this than just typing a little report… maybe sending pictures with the report? If I’m paying for the app I want it to be correct information always.

I live in UAE and wanted to test if the app would work with some of the local groceries and unfortunately I need to sign up for a free trial. I just want to test it, I don’t want to sign up. Sorry, but this way is a red flag for me.

If you want me to hate your app, presenting 39 onboarding steps, including making a “promise” that was irrelevant to me (all choices had to do with kids), is a good way to do that. Even worse, it isn’t until after you go through all of that, that they present a pay wall. 

I also got promoted to rate the app in the App Store before I had even finished all the onboarding!!
