Ooma Smart Security

It’s pretty straightforward and easy to use and does the job extremely well. One suggestion: a widget for the iOS where all the devices live status would be amazing. (If that’s even possible). I once left the garage door open, missed the Iona warning, and didn’t check the app.. only closed it the next day… thankfully nothing happened. Which lead to the thought of having status displayed on maybe the second page of my phone. That would be lovely thanks 😅

I just change a battery in water sensor (only one), the app charge me annual fees security without permission.

Have it installed for couple of days and so far it's working as per expectations. Only suggestion I would like to make is to have ability to use a tablet or our own smart phones as base to have voice notifications and trigger an alarm of unauthorized entry is made into the home,if enabled like Rogers or any other home security companies have.

The system it’s so buggy that I cannot have a enough room to describe it Being an IT professional and understand in and out the smart devices these ones from Ooma are one of the worst. I ended up building my own security system and programmed my smart devices in the proper way. Ooma was good at the beginning but slowly their service degraded. This system is amazing, very robust HW & SW. I would love to see additional components like smart power switches, smart plugs, glass breaking sensors, smart lock interfaces etc. This is by far the best “independent” security platform that I have seen. Offering the service of monitoring in Quebec would also be nice.

Component information is good and easy to access. But information on the phone application set up is less than clear or simple.
